This was the most insane experience I’ve ever had at a store. I was checking out, and my total was $203.64. My card processed, the money immediately came out of my account, and my bank showed the transaction as completed. Then the register froze. The manager, Veronica (I was told that was her name), walked up and, without explaining anything, said, “You have to leave without your items and without a receipt.” I honestly thought she was joking. I said I would just wait for the receipt, but she refused. She expected me to leave after they had already taken over $200 from my account. I showed her my banking app proving the payment had gone through. I told her there were only three reasonable options: let me leave with my items, give me a receipt, or refund my money. Instead, she kept walking away, throwing her hands up, and insisting I wasn’t leaving with my purchase. Kathy was the only employee who stayed calm, acted professionally, and genuinely tried to help. Finally I said I was calling the police so there would at least be a report if my money never came back. Funny how that’s when they suddenly got corporate on the phone, and corporate immediately told them I could leave with my items. What makes this even stranger is they never offered to move me to another register. If they believed the payment hadn’t gone through, why not ring everything up again? Or if they thought a refund was processing, why not let me repurchase my everyday necessities while the refund was handled separately? Instead, they seemed more interested in making me leave than solving the problem. On my way out, another customer told me something similar had happened to their elderly parents with the same manager, they still haven’t received a refund. Two different couples also stopped us in the parking lot to say they would have done exactly what I did and that the manager’s behavior was completely uncalled for. I really appreciated that support and sense of community from complete strangers. As someone who manages employees myself, I was shocked by Veronica’s lack of professionalism. She was dismissive, rude, unwilling to communicate, and seemed to avoid resolving the situation. The overall behavior of the staff felt disorganized and left me questioning how this store is managed. I eventually got my merchandise, but only because I stood my ground after my money had already been taken. The deals aren’t worth the headache, and I won’t be back. This is the longest review I’ve ever written, but I hope it prevents someone else from going through the same experience. It was honestly traumatizing for my two young daughters to witness.

Talk about a clean store, well organized. The prices are always great and on all items. They have a huge variety of everything from indoor home needs and outdoor home needs. I buy my fans from ollies and they are great priced and work amazing. Kids books are great deals!

Good stuff cheap is a good slogan for Ollie's. You need to sift through what they have, but I have found some quality bargains there. They will not have everything.

This store can be quite a bit more messy than the one in Marshall, but like all Ollie's it's fun to treasure hunt for bargains. Good variety to look through. Just make sure to eat the food quickly! It's marked down so much because it's close to the expiration date.

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is such a great place to shop! They always have amazing prices and tons of options to choose from. I was impressed by how well-organized the store was, which made it easy to find what I needed (and a few fun surprises too!). Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for great deals and variety.
