Mr Appliance

Although there’s nothing glamorous about dryer repair, I had an amazing encounter with Mr Appliance Repair Service! My dryer had been overheating for 2 years, so I could only use it on delicate or permanent press cycle. A previous repairman told me it needed a specific part that would be 400-500$ plus labor. I decided to just continue using it on the settings that didn’t overheat until my son said overheating could eventually happen on any cycle & be a fire hazard. The young man who came to “diagnose” the problem immediately knew it was a clogged dryer vent . There was nothing mechanically wrong with the dryer. The next day, Kevin & Stratton came to clean the vent. They were both polite, knowledgeable & showed before & after pictures of their work. They had to climb in the attic to access the vent & even showed me wet clumps of lint & debris that were blocking the vent. The vent was pristinely clean when they finished. I’m not a frequent review writer, but these guys deserve recognition & accolades!! Their price was reasonable, and their professionalism & thorough work was only superseded by their kindness & friendliness! They really seemed to care about the customer & the customer’s satisfaction / safety. Kevin recommended cleaning once a year, which I definitely plan to do. Thank you to these great guys who made a dreaded appliance repair a most pleasant experience!!

I moved in a house that had a Sub-Zero that is 34.5 years old! It was making a somewhat loud noise off and on, and was getting getting quite warm-hot by the condenser area. I called Mr Appliance to have my refrigerator cleaned and inspected. The cleaning resolved the heat issue and the identified a bad fan was in the refrigerator area, which turning on and off. They charged me $150 for the cleaning, inspection, and identification of the fan issue. I paid another $280 for a new fan, old fan removal, and new fan installation. Total cost was $430, which is reasonable since they come in from Tyler to my house in Longview. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend Mr Appliance!

Scheduling the appointment was super easy!!! Then I got a text the day before providing a window of time when service person would arrive. Patrick arrived within the window went straight to work, immediately got my washer to do things I hadn't been able to get it to do, and got it to work without any repairs (just messing with the buttons and getting them to work properly). He said it appears the motherboard is going out and provided me with an estimate of the cost of replacing it. It didn't take him long at all to find the problem and get the washer to working. I was impressed with his communication and concern. I have already recommended Mr. Appliance to the residents of my community via one of our FaceBook pages. I'll definitely use Mr. Appliance of East Texas the next time I need appliance repairs!!!!

I cannot recommend Daniel and Mr. Appliance enough! All my communications with the company were handled quickly and professionally. My technician, Daniel, was knowledgeable, courteous, and so very patient and nice. He diagnosed the issue, gave me the cost, ordered the part, and after the install my refrigerator is working perfectly! Just a great experience. Thank you!

Very professional group of folks! All that I had talked to with Mr. Appliance were very polite and caring. Customer service is outstanding! Great attention and care went into diagnosing the problem. They were very prompt in ordering parts and scheduling all repairs. Nicholas worked diligently in finding the root cause and all issue's as well as repairs in fixing the problems with our washing machine. Very very hard working nice pleasant young man.
