These terms govern your use of usedappliancestores.com, operated by APPLIANCERENTALS.COM LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("we," "us," or "the operator"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. The site is intended for users in the United States.

What this site is

usedappliancestores.com is an independent directory of used-appliance stores. We compile listings from stores' own public websites, from public records, and from the stores' public business profiles (obtained through licensed data services), run dated factual checks on them, and publish the results with per-field sources and check dates. How we compile and check data is described on the Methodology and Data & Corrections pages.

We are a directory, and only a directory:

  • We do not own, operate, or endorse any store listed.
  • We are not a party to any purchase, rental, repair, or other transaction between you and a store. Any deal you make with a store is between you and that store.
  • Listing a store means our compiled data met our publication checks on the dates shown. It is not a recommendation, a guarantee of the store's conduct, or a statement that the store is licensed or reputable.

Ownership disclosure

This site is operated by APPLIANCERENTALS.COM LLC, which also operates appliancerentals.com, an appliance rental business. Some comparison guides on this site link to appliancerentals.com as one of the options compared, and those links are labeled. Store listings, city pages, and brand pages carry no appliancerentals.com promotion. The common ownership is also disclosed on the About page.

Accuracy of listings

We work from public sources and dated checks, and we publish the source and check date for each field. Even so, business data goes stale: stores move, close, change hours, and change what they carry. Information on this site may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Verify anything that matters directly with the store before you act on it.

Verification tiers and check tallies on this site are our own evaluation, based on the specific checks disclosed on the Methodology page. They are statements of opinion about the listing data we compiled, not statements of fact about the business itself. If you believe a listing is wrong, use the Data & Corrections page; we commit to the response windows published there.

No warranty

The site and all listings are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, APPLIANCERENTALS.COM LLC and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or your dealings with any listed store, including lost money, lost data, or lost time. Our total liability for any claim arising from the site is limited to $100. Some states do not allow certain liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, misrepresent your identity to us (for example, filing a correction request for a business you do not represent), attempt to breach the site's security, or send automated traffic at a volume that degrades the service for others.

Intellectual property

The site's original text, the verification methodology, scores, and the selection and arrangement of the directory are ours. Store names and brand names belong to their respective owners; they appear here only to identify the businesses and products listed, and their appearance does not imply any affiliation or endorsement (see the disclaimer on brand pages). Factual data itself (names, addresses, phone numbers) is not claimed as proprietary.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, contact APPLIANCERENTALS.COM LLC through the Data & Corrections page with (1) the URL of the material, (2) a description of the copyrighted work, (3) your contact information, and (4) a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized. We review complaints within 10 business days and remove infringing material.

Third-party links

Listings and guides link to stores' own websites and other third-party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, the state in which APPLIANCERENTALS.COM LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Ohio.
