My partner & I had been shopping for a washer and dryer for our new home over the last few days. We had already visited a few big-box stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s, but decided to give a local store a try. We’re so glad we found Asher’s Appliances, and honestly wish we had come here sooner.
We’re the kind of people who don’t necessarily want to buy everything brand new. Open-box or nearly new items are usually the sweet spot for us when it comes to value for money, and we also like that it feels like a more environmentally conscious choice. At the same time, a truly used washer or dryer can be a little harder to feel good about. There’s the hygiene and cleanliness side of it, but also the question of reliability and warranty coverage. You don’t really know how a machine was used or maintained, and if something goes wrong with a washer or dryer, the repair or replacement can get expensive pretty quickly. So we were really hoping to find something that was essentially new, without paying full brand-new prices. That’s exactly what we found at this store, and it was a pleasant surprise.
We were initially a little hesitant because we assumed most of the appliances would be visibly used, show some wear and tear, or not come with the same coverage as a brand-new machine. We were completely wrong. Most of the machines we saw were open-box and showed little to no signs of use. Some were literally still factory sealed, just no longer in their original box. Even better, the LG washers and dryers we were looking at still came with the full manufacturer warranty.
Cameron was incredibly kind and patient and walked us through all the different models they had available. My partner and I were both surprised by how low the prices were for machines that were, for all practical purposes, basically brand new and still came with the same manufacturer warranty.
We ended up buying an open-box washer and dryer pair for $650 less than the brand-new price at the big-box stores.
We were shopping in the afternoon and hoping to get something ASAP, and Cameron and his team were kind and efficient enough to offer same-day installation. Within minutes of buying the machines, their installers Kevin & Caleb were already at our doorstep.The installers were extremely knowledgeable and efficient. We couldn’t believe how quickly and smoothly the whole installation went.
We really cannot recommend Asher’s Appliances enough. Within 24 hours of buying our washer and dryer, we had already told all of our homeowner friends that they should make this their first stop the next time they need an appliance. This store literally has all the top-rated, modern, current-generation appliances at a fraction of the cost. We feel really lucky to have found this place.
