I have been with Service Plus for over a decade and I have had nothing but on and off problems with them. They don't communicate unless they want your money. I have filed several claims with half of them being "unable to assign a technician to your claim". They send a reimbursement form for $200 when I spend almost $60/mth for their obviously useless service. My AC went out last week. It's 102 outside. I put in a claim and heard nothing for six days. I get an email for a reimbursement form and no status on my claim, no other communication. This is absolutely unacceptable. I'm cancelling today and getting my mom and sister to do the same. That's three households they are losing because of their awful service. I called three times in the past four days and even at 2pm in the afternoon it was "outside business hours". I'm beginning to think this is a scam and not just pathetic service.

Terrible company. Don't use this warranty company. They will deny your claim, if they even send someone out they do not pay contractors then contractors will turn around and ask you for payment that Serviceplus suppose to pay for fixing the issue. I have been with them for 2 years. They denied 2 out of 3 claims. The only one they honored was my kitchen sink clog and they never paid the contractor. He kept sending me bill in my email after I paid 75 dollars that I have to pay for each claim. This company is a scam. Check out other warranty company. I regret ever signing up here. It was a wasted investment. You are better off without them.

I filed a claim, waited 1wk, called the co. They hadn't assigned the claim to a technician yet. A wk later, they gave us the name and number of the technician. I called set up an appointment. He didn't come at the assigned time he got there that night at about 8:45 pm. He tested the oven, wrote down some numbers collected the $125. and left. After another week I called the Co. They said he never filed the diagnose claim showing he had even been here. The rep. call him, he said he would file it in 10 mins She said after they review it, they would email us. Week 4, we looked on line this morning and the claim has been closed. No explanation, just closed. We're out of $125. and the oven still doesn't work. What the ?. I'm so pissed right now. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The last time it took this same technician about 5wks to complete a task. And to think we left AHS after 20 yrs. They're just as shoddy. I'm beginning to think these warranty co. are all a scam. As soon as they open, I will be calling.

In my opinion, Service Plus Warranty is a scam. I would not recommend Service Plus Warranty to anyone. We have been paying into their program for nine months and made every payment on time. When we finally needed to file a claim for problems with the pipes in our home, our claim was denied. We were told that the damage was caused by rust and corrosion and therefore was not covered. This was never clearly explained to us when we purchased the warranty. It feels very misleading to pay month after month for coverage, only to be told that the issue is excluded when you actually need help. Based on our experience, Service Plus was happy to take our money but unwilling to provide the coverage we expected when it was time to file a claim. We feel completely disappointed and frustrated by the way our claim was handled. In our experience, this company operates like a scam, and we would not recommend it to anyone. Be sure to read every exclusion and limitation in the contract before purchasing a warranty from this company.

Don't do it! Every time I need something serviced, they can never find a technician in my area. They then off me a $200 reimbursement. If I wanted to find a technician every time I had an issue, I wouldn't pay you to do it. Then what if the repair or replacement cost more?????? I spoke to them on one occasion ready to cancel my policy (mid term) and the gentleman said he could waive the cancelation fee but he convinced me to stay. When I got good and fed up and called again to cancel, the gentleman said that I couldn't not cancel and had to stay until the contract is up. At this point I am wasting my money. They money I am paying them can be used towards the repair. I had another company before and they were great. I changed due to their rising cost. But I guess you get what you pay for.
