Extremely Disappointing Experience -- Nothing Like the AAA Appliance I Used to Trust I stopped by the store expecting to deal with AAA Appliance, a family-run business that I had trusted for years. They consistently provided GREAT sales, service, and delivery for my rental apartments. Unfortunately, I discovered that AAA Appliance is gone and that a new appliance store, Warrendale, has taken over. My first impression was already disappointing. There were very few reasonably priced appliances suitable for rental properties, and I was told that virtually everything had to be ordered. Still, I decided to give the new business a chance. That decision turned into a major mistake. I was scheduled for a Thursday delivery between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. I took the entire day off work without pay specifically to be available for this delivery. By 2:30 p.m., after waiting around for hours, I finally called Warrendale to find out what was happening. Instead of receiving an apology or even a reasonable explanation, I was met by an extremely condescending and rude employee who refused to give me his name. His attitude was as though I was inconveniencing him simply by asking where my paid-for appliance was. He curtly told me that the appliance would be delivered by the end of the day. Of course, the end of the day came and went -- and there was still no delivery. The following morning, I called again, only to be told that my appliance had never even arrived and that I would have to reschedule the delivery. Let that sink in: I lost an entire day of wages waiting for a delivery that apparently wasn't even available, received no meaningful communication from the company, and then had to chase them down myself to find out what was happening. This is unacceptable customer service. If an appliance isn't in stock or hasn't arrived, customers should be told before they take an unpaid day off work and sit at home waiting for a delivery that isn't coming. And customers certainly shouldn't be treated with disrespect when they call for answers. AAA Appliance may have had its problems, but I never experienced this level of poor communication, disrespect, and disregard for a customer's time. Based on this experience, I have serious concerns about whether Warrendale understands what customer service actually means. If this is how they treat customers before the appliance is even delivered, I can only imagine what happens if there is ever a problem with the appliance or the delivery. Very disappointing. Very unprofessional. And absolutely not the level of service I expected when I walked into what I thought would be the same trusted business.

Let's see.... what do I love about Warrendale Appliance? Just about everything! The sales team over there really went above and beyond with all the different appliances that I needed for my house and I needed a ton! They saved me lots of money and they saved me lots of time and I couldn't be happier with my new home appliances set up! Thank you Warrendale... and thank you for opening up a store in Jamaica Plain! We've been waiting a long time for you!!
