I would never do business with this company again. I purchased an entire suite of Thermador appliances through Cookchill/Manna Distributors and worked directly with their representative, Diana Braun. I spent tens of thousands of dollars and was excited for installation. Unfortunately, my refrigerator and under-counter refrigerator were delivered damaged, including a bent refrigerator handle and damaged refrigerator panels.
Since delivery, Diana Braun has been the person I have been communicating with, and I have not received meaningful updates or progress from her. It has now been six weeks with no resolution. Our last email exchange was two weeks ago, and she has not followed up with any status or next steps. In that last email, I was told the replacement panels would be delivered within a week. That timeframe passed with no delivery and no update.
I do my best to research major purchases, but this experience turned into exactly the kind of situation you hope will never happen. After they collected my payment, the lack of follow-through has been alarming. Even beyond the sparse email communication, I made multiple phone calls and was promised return calls that never materialized. The lack of empathy and lack of urgency after delivering damaged products told me a lot about this company’s values.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company to friends or family. If you are looking for high-end appliances for a kitchen remodel, I suggest looking elsewhere.
