Queen City Homestore

A bit disappointed with my experience with Queen City Homestore. We purchased a range on the 27th of June in 2026 with delivery stated to be week ending July 11th. We didn't have a problem to wait and expectations were set. A week later they call and advise that the range would be delayed without providing a date. In the approximate 4 weeks that followed there was no communication. After attempting to call multiple times to square away a delivery date, we only received a call back after kicking up a fuss. It's understandable that delays out of Queen City's control happen but the lack of communication on what is a large purchase for us has been... disappointing. At least now we have a tentative delivery period and can plan around it. One of the benefits from ordering from Queen City as opposed to a big box retailer is supposed to be the customer service, both at the point of sale, point of delivery and everywhere in-between. Unfortunately our experience has been no different from purchasing from any other big box appliance store. The salesman was polite, friendly and knowledgeable and POS was a pleasure.

My mom’s refrigerator suddenly broke, and because I live out of state, replacing it could have been very difficult. J. C. at Queen City Homestore worked with me from start to finish, patiently researching options for an unusual space, ordering the model we needed, and keeping me updated every day—even on his day off. I always knew exactly where things stood. The installation and delivery team were also amazing. This was an outstanding example of true partnership and customer service.

The two gentlemen were very polite and friendly. The unhooked and removed our old washer and dryer and put it in our dining room to be picked up on Monday by the rental company we used before buying our new washer and dryer from Queen City. After putting the new washer and dryer in they checked the washer for any leaks and made sure the dryer was working correctly. I highly recommend them and they did a wonderful job. Josh and his partner who helped install my new washer were absolutely amazing. They were on time, even let me know it would be 15 minutes called me before they got here. They were so kind, professional, and hardworking. I have steep steps going down to my basement, and they handled moving everything with ease and confidence. They made sure the washer was perfectly leveled, ready to go, and even took the time to show me how everything worked before they left. You can tell they really care about doing the job right. I truly appreciated their help and positive attitude — highly recommend!
