Hoffman's Appliance

I was looking for a replacement dryer belt and a search turned them up as a potential retailer. I called to verify, but was told they didn't stock repair parts. The man I spoke with asked for my model number and then looked up the part I needed, but then went on to look up where I could find the part. Turns out Amazon has it with 2 day delivery. While I've never purchased anything from them, this level of customer service puts them at the forefront of places where I want to shop next time I need an appliance.

If you want to be treated like crap, this is your place. Spent over $7600 on appliances for a kitchen. The fridge arrives DOA...they wont do a thing...wont help...wont replace...pushed us on to GE warranty repair...who repaired it...and it lasted exactly 12 hours before failing. They did offer to take it back with a 25% restock fee...how incredibly generous. Go anywhere else.

The sales experience was great! Our salesman, Pat was excellent to work with. We appreciated that there was not any hovering and he was not pushy. We did price shop and all stores were within $5.00 of each other. The quality of 3 out of 4 of the appliances we bought are not up to our expectations. However after fighting with what I assume was a manager at the store regarding the defective stove hood fan we purchased I see no point in returning to discuss the other problems. If you purchase anything make sure you save the box it came in!!!! Brand new fan purchased and when our contractor got it on the wall noticed the motor housing was damaged and it did not work. Unfortunately contractor threw out the box and Hoffmans would not take it back. They came out and put new motor on it but then I had to rehire another contractor to reinstall, once it was up we found there were dents in the hood itself. I had to argue with store over fact that it was brand new and should be replaced regardless of if we had the box or not. They seemed more interested in their profit than the customer. Very disappointed! They finally agreed to get us a new fan aftera couple conversations but in the end the contractor they recommended never reached out to reinstall the new fan once the store called to say the fan was in. I’ve not heard back from the store as to why we haven’t picked up the replacement fan. The were only worried about “we’re losing money on this”. They tried to place blame on us and our contractor for their defective product. What happened to customer service. We will never go back and we have accepted the fact that we have a dented hood fan for our brand new kitchen.
