Western Mass Appliances

Our 15 year old fridge decided to die on one of the hottest days of the year...arrgh! We are not huge fans of the big box stores and prefer "Mom & Pop Shops", so we looked around and found WesternMass Appliances, a family owned business in the old Kmart plaza in Holyoke. The place is huge and easy to navigate. They have both new and scratch and dent appliances from a lot of brands and price points too. We were greeted with a friendly smile and no pressure from Anthony, one of the sales people, who arranged a quick delivery of our new fridge. Our delivery guys, two brothers, Jeremy and Jimmy were super friendly and professional. It was easy to see that they took pride in both their work and business. They made quick work of the installation of our new fridge and removal of the old one. They even took the time to clean and polish up the surface before leaving. The fridge was ready to start loading our food back into, because it was still fairly cold inside from being plugged in and tested the night before delivery. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. The delivery team was just as impressive. They arrived on time, were extremely professional, and even removed the old appliances that were already in place. They handled everything with care and made sure the installation process went smoothly. Chris was the 1st gentleman I met, very friendly and knowledgeable about the products. The refrigerator I wanted was at their main store and I was met there by Donny and Jay, who took customer service to a whole other level. I didn’t feel pressured at all. They answered my questions and helped me pinpoint the exact appliance that I was looking for.. They even stayed open late to accommodate me, which is incredible in itself. I got a great price and Great service. I give them five stars because not only did they do great, but Jimmy and Jeremy delivered and set up my refrigerator with the most positive outgoing down to earth energy. They were a pleasure to have in my home. They took the extra steps to ensure that they not only met my expectations, but exceeded it! My entire experience with this company was such a Wonderful experience I look forward to getting all of my future Appliances from them. in short they earned a customer for life!!
