Deranleau's Appliance Audio

Several times throughout the last few years I’ve had appliance crisis where I needed a replacement unit asap. This week I had yet another desperate need and once again I was taken care of and they delivered next business day. The staff at Deranleau’s has always been very accommodating and provided professional service. The delivery guys, Dylan and Skyler, were exceptional and worked so efficiently. They went out of their way to make sure the delivery met every expectation. I will continue to give my business to Deranleau’s in Moscow.

Deranleau's is the best. I wish we had learned about them years ago, but I am so glad we finally did and that they are close to where we live. Two days after my husband came home from the hospital, our Samsung glass stove top cracked from the inside out. We only had it for 9 months, and Samsung only made things more difficult. They said they would send someone to repair it. Two days later, they told us to find someone and they would pay for it. We contacted several places and Pearl, in the Lewiston Deranleau's, was the only person who was helpful. She said there wasn't anyone in our area who worked on Samsung and it would take about 3 weeks to get a replacement glass top, as there were none in stock anywhere. She then put us in touch with with Nate at the Moscow Deranleau's. Nate was wonderful! Since it is difficult for us to get out much due to my husband's condition, we were able to discuss our needs with Nate over the phone. He sent links via email with several options so we could review them. Nate said whatever we picked could be delivered the next day. Two days later, while returning home from a doctor's visit that morning, we went to the Moscow Deranleau's to talk with Nate. He went over the various stoves and we picked a GE. Also, since our dryer gave out the week before, he showed us several washer and dryer sets, and we ended up with a nice LG pair. Nate scheduled delivery for the next day, but before we left he found out that everything could be delivered that afternoon. The truck came and the men took away the old appliances, set up the new ones, and explained how to work them. Whenever we need another appliance, I will contact Nate at Deranleau's. Because of him, our lives are a whole lot better right now.

I've always enjoyed the sales people at Deranleau's because of their patience to answer questions. One of the sales guys has been there for a few years which means to me that he is treated well by the owners so he stays and that speaks volumes! I had to replace my refrigerator and the sales guy was very patient while I looked .. I had to get a specific size because of cupboards above, ugh; anyway he called the Lewiston and they basically had the same ones there so he looked online to maybe order one but I decided just to get the one with the freezer on top there at the store. I was so appreciative of the trouble he went through to try to get what I wanted ☺️

Update: A representative from Deranleau’s contacted us. They took immediate action to resolve the issues below. The care and attention in ensuring damages were repaired and our concerns were addressed was impressive. It means a lot that a local business would take such efforts to ensure the satisfaction of a single customer. I really can’t overstate how helpful and accommodating they’ve been! So much so that we will likely look to Deranleaus for our next appliance. We were excited to buy a well-reviewed washer/dryer set from a local appliance store. My husband was pleased with the sales team, anywho helped him find and purchase what we were looking for. Our mistake came in paying $79 for delivery. Upon arrival, the team of three delivery staff were told multiple times to use the back door and back stairwell due to limited space in the front entrance and front stairwell. After refusing multiple times, they elected to go down our front Stairwell at the bottom of which they realize there was not space. Rather than turn around, they wedged the washer through the very narrow entrance into our basement, damaging our basement wall, linoleum, and brand new appliances. I think the most frustrating damage was of the washer window, which was scratched to the extent that it constantly looks dirty. They took multiple pictures of all of the damage they did, Then departed without an apology. We waited some time to hear from them, in hopes the store would make this right, and never heard a word. We gave 2 stars because the sales team was great, but no amount of salesmanship can make up for this damage. I don’t imagine we’ll purchase appliances from this business in future, and certainly wouldn’t recommend delivery to those who do.
