First red flag: The technician claimed that he wasn’t able to find my house and canceled the appointment, even though I called him back within couple minutes to provide directions. Second red flag: They never followed through after I called three times and left multiple messages. I’m still waiting to hear from them about the part, even after four months. I would recommend trying another company. So far, this has been a very unprofessional and unpleasant experience. They were quick to charge my card, but after that, they completely ghosted me.

I had a disappointing experience with Honolulu Appliance Repair Pro. I was charged a $195 service call fee for a washer inspection. The technician was onsite for less than five minutes, did not open the machine or perform any real diagnostic steps, briefly shook the unit, and then provided a $645 repair quote. I would have been fine paying a premium if a thorough inspection was done, but that did not happen. When I called the office to question the charge, the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional. I did not move forward with the repair through this company and chose another provider.

I had a great experience with Hon Appliances when my Whirlpool washer/dryer combo broke down. They sent a technician within a few days, and Rey quickly diagnosed the issue. This company didn’t have any parts for appliances, just for laundry machines to repair came 3 or 4 times( it tools more than 3 weeks) At first the guy said it is done( took about 20min) so I tried to run the machine, it was same problem appeared so I called the company and they scheduled me a week after, and came again and looked again and they said have to order the parts so I was waited another week to schedule ( during the waiting time no one update it what was going on) . Even though just for making schedule they want me to give them my credit card information also. After I waited almost 3weeks, I contacted them and they said still waiting for the parts so I contacted another company ( EY-pro), they came right away and solved the problem at same day services and price was much better too. I really recommend not to trust Honolulu appliances pro. I really not satisfied their service also I lost couples of my work day because I couldn’t make my own schedule always on their schedule I have to follow.
