Working with Vernon at ABW Appliances was an outstanding experience for my wife and me. He treated us with top tier professionalism and genuine care throughout the entire process. Vernon is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to walk us through different brands and options, helping us find what truly fit our home and needs. He made everything feel easy and well-informed, which is not something you always get when shopping for appliances. We heard about Vernon through word of mouth and decided to make the drive from Westminster, Maryland to Arlington, and it was absolutely worth it. He exceeded our expectations. From the initial purchase to picking up our new dryer, the entire ABW Appliances experience has been excellent. I would strongly recommend skipping the big box stores and going straight to Vernon. I buy all my kitchen appliances here. They repair in a quick and efficient manner. They never say call the manufacturer-they come out and fix it. Just had to replace a microwave. Tymon worked with me to get what I needed. It’s nice to have one person to work with. Install worked around my schedule and did a great job. Service is great!

I purchased a JennAir microwave from ABW, and unfortunately the experience did not reflect the level of service the company advertises. Shortly after installation, the unit developed a defect; I contacted ABW immediately. On April 22nd, I was told the manufacturer had denied the exchange and that I should proceed with repair. No escalation was made, and no explanation was provided as to why a brand-new unit did not qualify for exchange. I added management to the email thread on May 5th, but the issue was still not escalated and no one from management responded. Over the next several weeks, ABW continued to direct me back to the warranty and to the manufacturer, rather than reviewing or advocating the case internally. Communication became inconsistent, and even after I clarified how I preferred to be addressed, responses reverted to generic greetings. For a company that promotes white-glove, personalized service, the lack of attention to detail was noticeable. JennAir ultimately reviewed the case directly, approved the exchange, and completed the full replacement before ABW’s scheduled repair appointment. ABW continued to send repair scheduling emails for the defective unit even after the manufacturer had already resolved the issue. At no point did ABW acknowledge the replacement, cancel the repair, or address my original question. In the end, the manufacturer resolved the problem entirely. My experience with ABW reflected limited follow-through, no escalation, and minimal ownership of the issue. I hope this review helps others understand what to expect.

ABW was recommended by our designer for our kitchen remodel after we had contacted 2 other brands that were not helpful. We're so glad to have been connected with this team! Liviston and Melanie were fantastic as we made mid-design changes and ensured everything flowed smoothly. We're very pleased with our finished kitchen and it would not have been possible without these rockstars. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed with ABW Appliances – dishonest and unreliable company! We placed an order for four kitchen appliances in June through our builder and in person at their showroom. The ABW salesperson promised that the full set would be ready for delivery in about two weeks. We paid the full amount upfront, in cash, expecting a smooth and professional process. Unfortunately, we have seen no commitment, no accountability, and absolutely no positive experience since then. By the end of July, they delivered the dishwasher, which turned out to be damaged and uneven inside, and the door wouldn’t close properly. In August, they said the double oven was ready, but during installation, the crooked door caused the glass to shatter! Then, they told us that the refrigerator would take another six months to arrive! When I found the same model and color available on the GE website and asked them to replace it, they suddenly claimed that our “original order just became available” — how convenient! Out of four appliances, two arrived damaged, and there’s still no clear timeline for replacements. It’s now October, and we still don’t have a working dishwasher or oven. ABW is dishonest, unprofessional, and shows zero responsibility toward their customers. We would never recommend this company to anyone.
