My dishwasher wasn't cleaning well and I finally realized that there was a couple of inches of water pulled in the bottom of the machine so I called Darrel's Appliance which always my go-to appliance repair shop. Broden, the technician, explain to me that it was either something stuck somewhere in the drain or that I might need a new dishwasher. Eeek! He did a thorough evaluation of my machine and after having the do a deep search, pulled a dorito chip sized shard of glass out of the drain which it was blocking.Hmm. I immediately knew what happened. My sister was visiting while I was out of town for two weeks. Let's just say her style of loading the dishwasher is very creative. She confessed to me that a glass of broken in the dishwasher and she got all the glass out. So I never even thought of that as a source of the drainage problem. I guess I had to laugh but was glad that Braden could solve my problem and avoid my having to buy a new dishwasher. He's an excellent technician and Daryl's is always a reliable resource.

Darrell’s Appliance is a decent place to do business with, but I feel they are pushing the GE Profile UltraFresh Combo units, and my experience with the product has been disappointing. The washer gave me problems from the day I bought it. After three service calls and about a year of dealing with the issues, it was finally determined that the control board needed to be replaced. Then, shortly afterward, the dryer drum broke.
