MAKE SURE TO HAVE A VEST, ALSO FIND OUT YOUR SCAC CODE!
I arrived at 1:40pm for my 8am-4pm appointment. Drove over to the “Empties” and the guard did an inspection on my trailer. Had me fill out paperwork, then basically do a DOT Inspection (turning on turn signals lights, brake lights, and they inspected trailer tires) Then had me come around back and guard would go inside trailer and I would close trailer doors on guard for any issues inside trailer.
I ended up failing the inspection because the registration paperwork was not readable, and all the black tape on back corner of trailer door needed to be repaired. I told my dispatch what’s going on, I was told to go to 1411 Don Haskins Dr, El Paso, TX 79936 to make a swap.
5 mins away, I arrived and was stopped by security guard in a car. I told him I’m here to make a swap but he said no this place is already full of my companies trailers, he referred me to another address but the address he gave me was Electrolux, I explained to him that’s where I came from. I pretty much begged to do a swap and he said yes, I did the swap and went back to Electrolux. Trailer passed inspection, dropped it in trailer lot, make sure to get “Lot Number” and write it down. Bobtailed over to bobtail parking, I checked in with office for my appointment. Only to find out another driver took the load😡 When I told my dispatch this, he said the driver dropped it off at 1411 Don Haskins Dr, El Paso, TX 79936. OH MY GOSH!!! I went back there, explained to the office the situation, when they checked the system there was no loaded trailer here, but they have me for a live load instead. They gave me a dock door to go to, the previous trailer I came in with and dropped, I attached to it, opened trailer doors, and backed into dock door.
The same security guard saw me and said “So you were supposed to be here this whole time” I was so angry, tired, and confused I only said yes. He said don’t worry I’ll make sure they hurry up and load you and get you out of here. Took them 40 mins to load me, warehouse worker whistled for me that I’m done, drove back to the front for the office, signed for my bills, got my bills, and a worker came outside to put seal tag on trailer, I was out.
THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PLACE HAS BEEN DEFINITELY TOP 3 NIGHTMARE PLACES TO COME TOO! In all my years!
