Best place in Killeen / Harker Heights to buy budget friendly appliances. I bought a washer for less than it is offered at Lowe’s or Home Depot and the staff was WAY MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE about the appliances. Highly recommend this business for a pleasurable buying experience! Feels like luxury shopping but the prices are VERY GOOD!

We have relied on Modern Appliance for appliances and repairs for the past 30 years. They have never let us down. We don't even compare prices before buying because it's worth it to know they'll handle anything we need after the sale.

Bought part two days ago he said would fit whirlpool stove. Part doesn’t fit. He refused to check infinity switch until we bought his. We did, it doesn’t fit, went back, he was rude and refused to get proper part or to refund since he said this was the part which didn’t fit or work. Never do business with him again. Very rude pointing fingers at us and rude while we were polite. I did receive a message from the owner to come talk with him. I did so today and he was very polite and explained what happened. I understand why the part didn’t fit and he was kind enough to return my purchase. I will indeed consider working with this company again as they have been in business a very long time though under a bit different name. I will give them another chance and appreciate their response to my complaint.

I had the pleasure of having Dan come to my home to find out what is wrong with my cooker today. Its brand new and since the first time using it it has not cooked food all the way through and requires almost an hour extra of cooking time. I had been reaching out to whirlpool as it has warranty but i was not getting any response back. When Dan showed up he was very friendly, well spoken and made me feel at ease, I have bad anxiety with strangers in my home. He was very professional and educated me on what he was doing and why. There didn't seem to be a clear problem with what was happening, so the solution in the end was to calibrate the oven and to see how that goes, then to reach back out if that doesn't solve the problem. You know there are many other companies out there that would go ahead and change out whatever they wanted to make that extra money. Modern appliance has a very trustworthy member of staff right there!
