CENWOOD….. go to Cenwood appliance for all your appliance needs, here’s why……
It was Sunday and I had to have a refrigerator. I went to a big box store because they were the only ones open. I bought one that day and the sales people were delightful. The delivery folks came out two days later and couldn’t make it up our driveway, which is very steep. That was pretty understandable, but I was then put on the phone with the dispatcher who began lecturing me on the duties of the Customer at delivery, she obviously was ill on the day of the Customer Service seminar.
I was at Cenwood appliance at 7:30 AM the next day. They are probably the only appliance store that opens that early. I was greeted by Jennifer (she’s an amazing person). I asked for my sales person Quentin, he had sold me a kitchenAid microwave of a year or two earlier. Jennifer encouraged me to go ahead and start looking for a refrigerator before Quentin got back there which I certainly did. He showed up very quickly, and we started looking at refrigerators. I was pretty flexible on what I wanted and he found me a magnificent refrigerator at a really great price.
While he was writing up the contract, I called the big box store and told them to forget it and I wanted my money back. I got the refund quickly. So I pulled out my credit card and bought the refrigerator at Cenwood. I went back up to the front counter to pay Jennifer for the refrigerator. While I was up there, Jennifer, Quentin and myself joked and laughed about all different subjects and had a truly wonderful time.
Two days later, the delivery gentleman from Cenwood, Jon and Jack showed up to deliver my new refrigerator…. Towards the beginning of my delivery window I might add. As I mentioned earlier, the driveway is super steep and their truck couldn’t get up the driveway either. After they talked between themselves, they decided to walk the refrigerator up the driveway using their dolly. To be honest, I was thinking there was a 50-50 chance that I would actually get this refrigerator delivered that day. I was kind of afraid to watch them come up the driveway, but I did take a couple pictures which I will attach. To say Jon and Jack are miraculous is an enormous understatement. I will speculate 99% of all delivery people would not have done what they did and I am so grateful. They said I won the prize for the most challenging delivery this year!! Not only did they do it, but they did it with a smile and a super attitude all while telling me…..it was their job. ….Amazing. 
I will never go to a big box or appliance store to get any kind of appliance for the rest of my days except Cenwood. Full disclosure I have had good luck with an appliance store at the highway 70/100 split , but they didn’t open until 9 AM.
They say Customer Service is dead, but I’m here to tell you it’s alive and well at Cenwood appliance. It’s located in the hundred Oaks area of Nashville very close to the BMW dealership.
Thank you, Jennifer, Quentin, Jon and Jack for making this whole experience so, well…..off the charts!!!!! Thanks must also go out to Lisa Hunt, the general manager of Cenwood. Years ago, she did something amazing for me, I will never forget it.🤗🤗🤗
I will have to add several weeks after my new wonderful refrigerator was delivered, I had an issue with the dairy bin door. I called Quentin and he was able to help me in fact he got the bin for me which I picked up at the store and installed it that afternoon. Once again he and Cenwood appliance really demonstrated their knowledge and practice of superior Customer Service. Thank you so very much. My next purchase will be a washer and a dryer.😊😊😊💯
