Ryan Thompson is a LIAR! NEVER CALLED BACK AS PROMISED ABOUT THIS POS G.E. REFrig! Stay the hell away from GE Appliances! The defrost timer is faulty the rwfrin bought 5-24! Bodewell a repair co. has been out 4 times some punk kid who doesn't know shit and g.e owns bodewell. What the hell does that tell you ! A sales rep at this store stated to my mother that if you can get your washer machine repair do it because these new appliances are not worth two shits! and he is correct. I'm in talks with David Jeffers I'm going to see how he resolves this because I bought this GE refrigerator from him my mother has purchased two appliances from Jeffers including a GE washer and a Whirlpool range and has had problems on both purchases! Which companies must be held accountable! As of Monday August 4th I spoke with David Jeffers provided a case number complaint on g e and their company owned Bodwell repair . We'll see what he can do because Bodwell technician came over as many times and did nothing he couldn't even properly diagnose the defrost timer sticks another repair company came over said $350 free defrost timer board. We have purchased three appliances from David so I'm hoping at this point he will do something about this.. now August 19th David Jeffers the owner is not even answering my call he doesn't want to pay for the repair even though he insisted GE provide the free replacement part GE refused to pay for the labor I wouldn't have their sorry ass Bodewell back in here any damn way! Well now I'm calling the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs and file a complaint against GE I've already called the federal. These goddamn companies think they can defraud without any recourse! It has come to the point that America manufacturers don't give a shit about their appliances and this is just a scam to force consumers to purchase an extended warranty! I'm glad I bought the Maytag washing machine from Lowe's wish I had purchased this refrigerator from Lowe's (Michael McNeill)

Couldn't have been better. Spent lots of time with me when I was just looking. I called back days later when I ordered a dishwasher, Two days before the scheduled install the front glass on my range shattered. I called and David McGill quickly emailed me some options for quick delivery. I choose a GE which they were able to install on the same day as the dishwasher. The range GE -GRF509PVSS is great! The dishwasher GE -GDT670SYVFS failed after 2 washes. I emailed David who had a repair service call me that day. The issue was a bad control panel on the unit. Part was back ordered which leads me to believe there are issues with control panels. New control panel installed and working well so far. Thank you Jeffers McGill. I is always best to buy local.

David Caton was great to work with. We had to replace our 10 year old Bosch dishwasher. We chose to go with another Bosch and we never even had to go to the store. David priced out 3 different models for me as well as what it would cost to have it installed. After comparing prices with Lowes and Home Depot I decide to go with Jeffers McGill. Great customer service and got it installed the very next day by their installer Eddie Brazell. Eddie did a great job and was very meticulous to not damage our hardwood floors and he made sure that everything was cleaned up at the end of the job. He hauled off the old dishwasher as well as all of the packing materials. I highly recommend buying your next appliances from Jeffers McGill!

Jeffers-McGill has been an established company in Columbia since I was a little girl, and I am 65 years old. They are competitive with their pricing, extremely helpful with their service, and sell high quality products. We won't be going anywhere else for our appliances from now on, and actually plan to return this week to buy a refrigerator. Can't recommend highly enough.
