I was in the market for new appliances throughout my home, and I made the grave decision to go with Allentown Appliance. The issues are extensive so here’s a breakdown :
1 - Dryer was installed with paint damage. Never received the touch up paint.
2 - the dishwasher panel was severely damaged upon arrival. Had to order a new one.
3 - The basement fridge was assembled incorrectly. A door hinge was damaged and they put the freezer shelves in backward. The entire freezer door ended up being damaged and needed to be replaced.
4 - They butchered the range hood with shoddy work.
5 - the oven/microwave combo was installed with a huge gap at the bottom of the space because the previous unit was bigger. I was guaranteed by the condescending saleswoman Cheryl, that it would be a like for like replacement. She was wrong. That bad encounter would be just one of several unfortunate interactions with her, the extremely unprofessional installers, and unresponsive management team and owner, Jill.
6 - The kitchen fridge was being replaced by the same brand and again was guaranteed it would fit. It didn’t! Two shelves above the unit had to be removed to get it to fit.
7 - The installers are not the people in nice professional uniforms that are on the website. More like a step down from stooges.
8 - Some other miscellaneous issues with the install but would be arduous to go through.
Did I mention that these are brand new products?
In conclusion, if you want your property damaged and damaged appliances installed by unprofessionals, Allentown Appliances is the place. Otherwise stay far far away.
