I paid $467.63 to have my refrigerator fixed on Friday and learned it wasn’t fixed by the next day when all the food in the freezer had thawed out. I called and was told the repair guy would be out today, Monday, between 8 am and noon. No one came out and I can’t get ahold of anyone in the office and it’s now 3:22 pm. I’m very disappointed.

First time using Mr. Appliance of Allentown. We just purchased a new home, and our attempt to change the water/ice filter was unsuccessful. Upon calling, "Erin" promptly answered my call, obtained the information, called the technician and proceeded to schedule an appointment, (which was two days after my initial call). Erin, the voice of the company was exceptionally polite, professional, thorough and with prompt follow through. Our technician Javier arrived to our home within the specified time, and worked with diligence, persistence and attention to detail, removed the filter, which was successful. He reported the filter was left in so long, which was our unfortunate situation with the refrigerator that came with our home. However, as the adage goes, "It could always be worse." I would highly recommend Mr. Appliance of Allentown for your appliance needs, as you will not be disappointed.

I have an older model MetalFrio display refrigerator that stopped cooling. Because of its age, I didn’t intend to repair it. After looking at replacement costs, I decided it was worth checking out, and perhaps giving it a proper burial if there was no bringing it back. I am so glad I did! Jairo, my technician, was able to diagnose the problem, gave me a recommendation and I authorized the repairs. The cost was very reasonable and has now saved me a ton of money and time! Thanks to Jairo and Paula, who answered my call, asked a few questions and quickly setup an appointment with a timeframe on the next day! AWESOME PEOPLE!!! I had an issue with my SubZero refrigerator/freezer. Technician Jairo quickly diagnosed the problem. Jairo provided explanations as he worked and explained what was needed and how much the repair would cost. Jairo was efficient in using technology to order parts, write a work order report, do billing, and provide a receipt by communicating with the office effortlessly. Parts were quickly obtained and service work was completed in a timely manner. Jairo was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful.

Good service overall. I set my appointment up online and selected one of two time frames. I picked 8 AM -12 PM so I could plan work around this. I got a text the day before confirming my appointment for between 230-630 PM. I then tried texting back and calling and neither got me an answer so I rescheduled my work day last minute. Then, around 133 PM I received a text my repair person was on their way so I had to leave my last appointment early to get home for this. Why have is select a time frame when you can’t honor it even after you change it last minute? So the scheduling knocked them down by one star then tech showed up and within 20 minutes had the fridge diagnosed and repaired. I was charged $238 for the part and an additional $260 for labor. Total labor was maybe 15 minutes including diagnostics and us talking. Price was very high . I could understand $140-150 an hour but $260? If they would have kept their time window and charged a fair price they would have received a 5 star review. Tech was great. Price shop around before calling.
