Update: my last experience proved to be an anomaly. Sohn's has lived up to its high standard of providing quality products at a fair price and providing installation by a customer focused, highly knowledgeable and efficient technician. This tech, Kevin, was the gold standard. I'll continue to keep my business at Sohn's and recommend them highly to all. (The anomaly - Been a loyal Sohn's customer for many years, bought almost everything we have from them. Service was once very good. Sales staff was once very knowledgeable. Questionable service (I just watched the YouTube on this), unresolved venting issue, a call today for a purchase and sales didn't know the products. Finally told me to look it up online and order what I wanted.)

I just want to say that I’ve shopped many places for appliances and Grace at Sohns in Poughkeepsie is the best! She goes above and beyond to make sure that you are happy. She is extremely knowledgeable! She made it easy for me to transition to a different refrigerator She sent Keith to my home who was wonderful as well to make sure he could customize my opening to fit my new refrigerator. Which I’m so happy that he will be able to do! I can’t say enough about how they truly care about their customers!!***** Got my refrigerator delivered yesterday by Ethan and Max. They put everything together perfectly. What a professional team! Keith the installer went above and beyond to reconfigure where I had my subzero to make a cabinet above my new GE Cafe with the panels from my subzero to make it look built in. He did a great job! Thanks Sohns !! I will not shop anywhere else for appliances!!

My first time purchasing from Sohns. What a really good experience. My site evaluation to make sure I get the right size washer and dryer was done by Nick. Was right on time and took measurements of all the spaces to get to the basement. Just had my delivery today by Nick and Miguel. Early and right on time when they said they would be here. Set it all up and made sure everything was in good working order before they left. Both so pleasant and professional. Hoping to Not need any appliances any time soon but if I do Sohns in Walden will be my go to spot for sure. From the store staff to the delivery guys all 5 star as far as im concerned. Thank you Sohns. 😊

We are so lucky to have an old fashioned appliance store like this still around and available, providing good service. I came to buy wall oven from Sohn’s. They have a good collection of display models. There was some mix up during the delivery but Sohn’s was really on top of it and able to fix it at their soonest time frame. It was actually quite impressive. Besides their follow up service was excellent as well. I firmly believe that the real measure of a company is how it responds when faced with challenges. Through their actions, Sohn’s have earned the trust and confidence of my entire family. I highly highly recommend Sohn’s to everyone.

We had previously worked with Best Buy⁠�, where multiple representatives came out to measure and recommend models—but despite our repeated reminders about the dryer vent being a critical issue, each unit that was delivered simply didn’t fit. From the moment we walked into Sohns, we could tell things would be different. Their associate really listened to our concerns and immediately understood the challenge. They recommended a washer/dryer with a side vent that solved the exact problem that had been overlooked time and again. We are absolutely thrilled—not only with the quality of our new washer/dryer, but with the attentive, knowledgeable, and responsive service we received. Sohns Appliances truly knows their products and how to match them to real-life situations. Highly recommend!
