Diagnostic Visit: Mark arrived to inspect my dying 2 year old Maytag dishwasher. He was courteous and professional. The verdict was a seized wash motor. I later discovered the problem is a fault of this particular model, as the filter allows too large food particles into the circulator (wash) motor which causes seizing up. I found a reputable website that lists the motor for about $200. Mark quoted me a repair price of about $700. 😳 Diagnostic visit cost was $129, which is reasonable. (Repair price is not reasonable for a dishwasher, as they’re not really that difficult to work on). Of course I will not have Sears replace the motor for $700 when the appliance cost less than that, that’s ridiculous!!!!! And the same problem is guaranteed to reccur! At least I’ve learned a lot about buying appliances🤦🏻♀️

Mark was wonderful. He knew exactly what was wrong and repaired the oven in a timely manner. The only issue was with the appointment time which I believe is company policy. I received numerous e-mails up to the date of service and they couldn't verify a specific time to come and do the repair; it was scheduled from 8am to 5pm. That doesn't allow the customer any time to leave the house if needed. If you could specify appointments in half day increments that would allow people to not feel locked up in their homes all day. If a customer is the last on the list to get service as we were, that makes a very long day for us. Best Regards Diane
