I recently visited the Cowboy Maloney Home Store in Clinton Ms. There was an issue with my window a/c unit and it stopped working. I talked with the manager and he without a problem told me that he would swap it out for another one. I truly appreciate him and his staff for the assistance. I even asked if I could upgrade my unit for a better one and pay the difference, no problem. Thank you Mr. Manager and Cowboy Maloney for EXCELLENT SERVICE!!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Cowboy Maloney’s for years, but this most recent experience was incredibly disappointing. We came in knowing exactly what washer and dryer we wanted, yet the salesman repeatedly pushed us toward a different brand at a higher price point. After that, we were given the runaround about our chosen units not being in stock, along with claims that he couldn’t reach the warehouse. When I asked if we could get a similar washer from the same brand (with only about a $100 price difference) at the price of the unit we wanted originally (mind you, it’s on their sales floor and was discussed as “in stock”) - his response was sarcastic and dismissive—something along the lines of “sure, I’ll throw in that $2,000 TV too”—rather than being helpful. It felt like continued pressure to upsell rather than assist. I eventually asked about availability at the Flowood location, which he agreed to check. He told us we could pick it up there, which was fine—until we got to checkout, when he suddenly insisted we pick it up from the High Street location because it was “easier for them.” At that point, I made it clear we would be doing what was convenient for us as the customer. To make matters worse, when we attempted to pay by check, there was no verification process (no ID checked), and then we were told the system wouldn’t accept it and that we needed another form of payment. By then, we were completely frustrated and chose to walk away. As we were leaving, another staff member made a comment that implied we might be writing bad checks, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. We went to the Flowood location instead and had a completely different experience—purchased the exact washer and dryer we wanted and had it paid for and loaded within 20 minutes. Unfortunately, this visit has seriously impacted our trust. We will not be returning to the Jackson location again.

I visited the store when my dryer went out. JD couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating. He had a deep knowledge of each brand and helped me make the right decision. He was courteous and make every effort to give me excellent service, which sadly is a rare commodity these days.

Excellent service!! Great selection!! Price matching is a real deal. Prices for delivery and haul away were much less than big box stores. Salesman was very knowledgeable, again so different from big box stores! Didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need!! Lesson learned! I will only buy from Cowboy in the future…..won’t even look at the other places!

I had been looking for a new up right freezer and went to Lowes and Home Depot like we all do. Neither one of them had it in stock. Even the sales lady told me they always take like a week to 10 days to get they bigger ones in store and she made the best suggestion check out "Cowboys Maloney's" and I truly forgot about the heart of jackson mississippi appliances store and drove over to there location on I-55 frontage road. Was greeted by all the team and even helped by the store manager, he helped me find the one I was looking for at a better price and was bigger and guess what it was "IN STOCK ". When we asked customers want something or need something we typically want it that day. SO I said all that to say we need to support our homegrown stores more and as you can see the bigger corporations stores will leave and chase the money and not stick around just take a look at jackson over these last couple of years every one is leaving but the one who has always been here and has items in stock is still holding us down. Thanks Cowboy Maloneys
