The ONLY reason Pioneer received a 3 was because of Salesman Paul and repair person Jeremy. I purchased a new refrigerator from Pioneer. Arranged to have it delivered. Arranged to have the door openings switched (as I have had done in the 5 other refrigerators I have purchased.) 2 weeks in the freezer is icing (I don’t open the freezer much) call Service. Am told by Angie to “put Vaseline on the hinges”. No. Arrange for a service call.I receive a service reminder call the day before. Again, Vaseline , this time on the gasket. Jeremy comes and pulls the gasket off, basically replaces the same gasket with the original hinge side on the new hinge side. I call and speak to Dan store manager to give Jeremy a compliment. His reply. Oh, well always tell people to put Vaseline in the gasket. The gasket is set at the factory and when the door is changed to the opposite side. It potentially causes the gasket not to seal. Asked Dan why I was not informed of same. It doesn’t happen all the time. Yet, instead of offering a service call OR when the door hinge was changed, changing the gasket. Which took about 1 minute. Pioneer prefers I jump in my car and make a 50 mile round trip to buy Vaseline to repair a two week old refrigerator. So if you plan on buying a refrigerator from Pioneer. Pick up some Vaseline. You might need it . Or better yet, maybe Pioneer should give everyone who buys a new refrigerator a tub of Vaseline!
