Campo Appliances

Wrote down model numbers for the stove top, built-in oven and vent hood. Figured I’d pay a little more, but get better help at a local appliance store so off to Campo I went. Instead of looking it up, the guy asked for the dimensions so I googled model number on my phone and gave it to him because he couldn’t tap a couple of keys on his computer. Guy smiled, chuckled at me and said no, we don’t have any replacements for that. Asked google and was given a couple different options with some minor cabinetry modifications, what to order and names of local businesses to contact. Go figure, google has suggestions while Campo s’posedly in the business simply shrugs. I was wrong! Next time, Home Depot it is! Might not get better service, but at least I’ll get a military discount and I wouldn’t think they’d be any worse than I guy smirking at you. For what it’s worth, if you live in Metairie and have older appliances like me, this isn’t your store.

Jeremy at the Campos Airline location was so accommodating and helpful! Cedrick installed my refrigerator and was so prompt and just a joy to have assist with delivery! Ordered my new refrigerator at 12 noon and I had it delivered be 2:30pm on a Friday afternoon! After visiting at least 7 other appliance stores it was such a relief to find these guys to be so helpful and accommodating!

I had previously purchased a dishwasher through Campos a few years ago because I wanted a local company that most importantly would send installers that did the job right. That experience proved to be very successful in the entire process from calling in the order over the phone to getting the delivery and the install was truly top-notch. I have used a big box stores before include Costco more recently. When I needed to get the exact model at the exact time I needed it. These stores have been good at delivering the product but the wheels fall off the wagon when it comes to install. More recently, I had ordered a microwave from Costco and the installer, barely opened the box and said it wouldn’t work. I really didn’t have a good way to fight them and so the microwave remained in my living room and eventually picked it up. This is where I decided to turn back to Campos. My only real incentive was the ease of ordering and returning And the warranty, but that’s not useful if I can’t get the Appliance actually installed. I worked on a microwave and dryer order. Well, I did have to follow up several times. They were also pretty good at calling me back as well. The more important thing here is I was able to get a great price. I was able to get direct assistance from Gina in finding the microwave that would fit and They really worked with me on my schedule to get the delivery and install done at a time that worked for me. Costco could have replaced the microwave and it would have fit, but the installer took the easy road out. Campos has top-notch installation and they left the place way better than when they found it and the microwave was difficult to remove, but they got the job done and the new one in. I will continue to do business with this local company because I have experienced two out of two appliance install issues with Costco And none with Campos.

The Campo team installed our new GE Monogram refrigerator/freezer today. The install crew was very friendly and they did a great job. They even helped clean up the space when they removed the 20 year old unit. The guys were very respectful of our home and left it clean and neat. Thank you to the office team as well. It's been a challenge getting product, but y'all kept me updated all the way through. Thanks Paul.
