Called the company to go out and service a refrigerator. A request was made that the technician call upon arrival so that we could explain what is going on with the unit. That call never happened. Called back to company and days later received call from owner who is rude and displays poor customer service. When Ms. Green was involved customer service was excellent. Owner was so rude that he yelled at me and hung up the phone.
Mr. Green,
I want to clearly address what happened during this service call because the communication has not been handled professionally, and it has created unnecessary frustration.
When I first requested service, I specifically asked that the technician call me so I could explain the issues with the unit. That call never happened. Instead, I received a call from the gentleman who took my initial request, giving me a vague diagnosis and suggesting I purchase a used unit that—with delivery and fees—would cost nearly the same as a new one.
During that call, I asked where the possible leak was located, especially since there was another issue with the unit. He told me he wasn’t sure and said you would contact me.
You did call, but I was in court at that moment. I immediately called the store afterward and left a message letting you know I would return your call once court was finished—and I did.
What I don’t understand is how my attempt to inform you about a damaged wire on the unit resulted in you becoming upset, raising your voice, and being rude. I was simply trying to ensure you had accurate information about what was happening with the unit. Because I was advised you did not check the back of unit. The call ended with you hanging up, which is not acceptable.
I have been professional throughout this entire process, and I expect the same level of professionalism in return.
