The Appliance Shop, Inc

Made an appointment on Monday. Was told earliest appointment was on Tuesday somewhere from 12-5. Tues I stay home ALL DAY. At 2:00 I needed to the store so I called the shop to see if I had time, they said he'd be here in an hour. I go to the store and come right back. 3:00 rolls around, nothing. 5:00, nothing. I figure he got too busy and I'd be on top of the list the next day. I call as soon as they open. WRONG!!! She said he had called at 6:00. I pulled up my call log, WRONG!!! Nobody called me nor did I call anyone else besides my wife and son and those were after 10pm. But to fix it she did offer me another appointment on FRIDAY!!! I could probably just buy a new washer by then. Which I would rather do than use these unprofessional people. I have used Pruitt in the past had very good experience with them. Unfortunately for me Pruitt doesn't service LG washers. If you value you time, DO NOT use the Appliance Shop! They certainly do not value yours!!

Do not use! •.. Very unprofessional experience. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and not helpful at all. Communication was poor, and they failed to handle a simple situation properly. Receptionist hung up on me when I was explaining the situation. I expected a much higher level of professionalism from a business! Would not recommend based on this experience. Also sent out a repair guy that didn't communicate and didn't know what was wrong with my appliance. DO NOT use this company !... Looks like by the negative reviews I’m not the only one that thinks this company is unprofessional ! Pruitt appliance is the place to go! Fixed my appliance and very nice.

AAA+++ This is the place and people you want to call. They show up when they say they will. They follow up, great communication. The service technician that came to my house was prompt and professional he dealt with the manufacturer of my refrigerator and when they received all parts came back out and fixed our refrigerator. The Appliance Shop will be the only place I call or recommend.

Jeff is the Worst service rep in Topeka. I was told to wait at home from 8-5. Got a call at 5 pm that he was on his way. Shows up at 5:17. Turned dryer on, stuck hand in dryer and says it feels hot. Refused to let me put wet clothes in dryer and show that it does not dry clothes. Jeff said a test would be to disconnect dryer from vent and dry cloths. I started to move my dryer out, he said no and pushed it back and refused to do any test on warranty on the dryer. He then said "if I put my hand over your mouth you would stop breathing." This is how this company treats their customers and doesn't back factory warranty.

Imagine that, I get on here to let people know I will never use this company again after how rude and unprofessional the woman on the phone was and I see im not the only one this happened to. Hmmm She has no business in that position but is probably related to/friends with the owners as she has been this way before just not as bad. Oh, and the reason I called to begin with was because nobody showed up to my appointment. They also never call like me when on site when they do show up for appointments. They will just show up and leave not explaining what they did. (Not the first time this happened either) Also is Jeff still works there, you definitely dont want him coming to do your work. This place dont even deserve 1 star imo. Ive had other issues here but this time they showed their incompetence too much to let slide. The negative reviews repeat themselves for a reason I'd imagine seeing how they all back up what I'm saying happens to me. Edit: Had a good laugh at the "owner" calling my boss and playing the recording. Just made you look like a little kid attempting to get even cause you couldn't handle another bad review. Sorry but that didnt go down like you'd hoped. 😅
