Sears Appliance & Electronics

I want to be clear- this is not the fault of the technician. It is the coverage and service. I wait 2 weeks in the heat for a HVAC repair. the tech comes and immediately diagnose a line issue with one of the pipes which may be blocked. Appointment ended - 5 mins and a call to her boss who says if it was the unit ok- but not the attached pipe as I don't have full home coverage. they cant touch it- the end- unbelievable- and charged 100.00 for a service call!!!

Anthony was proficient in explaining the process required to repair our washing machine. The parts arrived in a timely manner and he came back as indicated and repaired the machine. He reinstated my confidence in Sears compared to getting my refrigerator repaired and year ago. It took 3 months. We lost all foods items that was in the refrigerator and freezer. Thank you Anthony, your professionalism is much appreciated.

James sure left in a hurry. Turns out he didn’t fix what he was supposed to! Our refrigerator hadn’t been working properly for several months; many visits from Sears. This time around we were supposed to get a new temp sensor and control assembly installed. James came out and installed them quickly in about 10 minutes. As he was leaving he said it should restart and start cooling normally in a little bit. After he left I opened to fridge to find that the lights weren’t working and the temperature was plummeting! No wonder he didn’t stick around. Now Sears won’t or can’t send anyone back out to fix it because the ticket is closed. I will NEVER ever work with nor recommend Sears Home Services to anyone for as long as I live!

The technician arrived within the time frame. He was polite. I am not sure his identification of the problrem was accurate. He did not turn on the washer to hear what I described. He checked something on his phone and provided the estimate. He was here about 10-15 minutes. Since the estimate was more than the cost of a new washer, I declined the repair.
