We purchased a water filter and shower attachment around 2012 (maybe earlier). The rep at the time had us purchase a second filter as it would be cheaper than way, but then advised us he'd hold onto it as they're fragile. When we needed it, the rep was untouchable. We contacted Carico on this in 2021 to get details on how we get our filter. No response. Tried again in 2026, still no response. The products are great but customer service is shockingly bad. Maybe they can see this and reach out or respond to the numerous emails?

Dealing with Carico is a horrible experience, and their representatives want $500 for a 15-inch cartridge, which is unbelievable. They try to rip off the customer, and there are better filters than Carico. I don't recommend them. They have no shame, and when the product is defective, they want me to buy it again because they only make excuses to avoid covering the warranty. The cartridges are poorly made and have many defects. The last time I bought a cartridge, I received it broken. I called the representative and sent him a picture, and he told me I had to buy another cartridge. I spent over $16,000 on the whole-house water system, and the installation was so bad that I had to call a plumbing company to fix the problems they left behind. They only want to sell and don't want to take responsibility for anything or honor the warranty.

I would caution against buying. I will say my set performed well over the years, but my recent interaction with customer service was far, far below expectations. I made an on- line purchase for replacement handles for my pot. The first time I placed an order, the site seemed to glitch, never confirming my order went thru. I got no confirmatory email or text, so I reordered. I ended up with a double order being mailed to me, which they made me sign for. Signing for an order of a product valued at under $35 is ridiculous and annoying if you ask me. I made a call asking to return the duplicate order, the first representative said he would text me the return address, but would ask about getting the postage covered and would call me back about that. He never called back. I called again. The second person placed me on hold, then told me she would call me back. That never happened. I waited 3 days and called again. I reached the second person I had spoken to, who put me on hold and transfered me to a third person, who said I could return the product, at my expense and that I would not be credited the tax I paid. This error was on them, their computer order system glitches causing and erroneous order. They dont back up orders with email receipts. I dont know about you, but I dont work with companies that operate like this. The extra handles I received may be on Facebook marketplace or ebay very soon - so look their for brand new short pot handles go there , you may have better luck than with Carico International.

I purchased products from Carico for approximately $3,000 through a sales representative, Angie Ricaurte. At no point during the sales process was I informed that the financing included interest or any additional charges. The representative clearly presented the purchase as an interest-free payment plan, and based on that information, I agreed to move forward. After receiving my billing statements, I discovered that interest was being charged — something that was never explained or disclosed before signing. I find this lack of transparency to be misleading and unethical, especially from a company that promotes itself as trustworthy and reputable. I have tried to contact the company to resolve the issue but have not received a satisfactory response. I am sharing this issue to warn other customers to carefully review any documents before agreeing to purchase or financing terms and not to rely solely on what the sales representatives say. I do not recommend Carico due to their lack of honesty and transparency in their sales and financing practices. Additionally, she clearly told me that my credit would not be run or affected as part of the financing process. However, I later discovered that a full credit inquiry had been made under my name, which negatively impacted my credit score. This was done without my knowledge or consent, and it was never explained or authorized during the purchase.
