Joe was extremely open with finding the grill I was looking for with his pricing. He went above and beyond working on the best and cheapest way to have my grill shipped. Had a few issues with the shipping company and Joe work out each issue without me getting involved. Living in NY and working with this company in Florida I had my doubts that it would work out to my benefit. Well, let me tell you, I will continue to use Joe and The Backyard Life for all my BBQ needs. Joe was fantastic.

Joe designed/installed a large-scale outdoor kitchen for us. He and his team have incredible attention to detail and pride in their work. Joe and his team will build your project with homeowner-level care; with no corners cut and nothing compromised including time and effort. The quality of work and materials is unmatched, his team is phenomenal, and client interface is friendly, professional, and supportive. Don’t settle for a quick cookie-cutter install or products with subpar characteristics. Call Joe, approach your project right, and you won’t be disappointed in the short or long term.

Just found Joe on a “near me “ search. I called several, he was the first to respond. Pleasant, helpful. When I explained I might go DIY he never hesitated. He offered design ideas, equipment recommendations, and followed up with a site visit. Very knowledgeable, hands on experience. Kept me well informed on delivery expectations and was prepared to make an evening delivery. I also learned that it is not quite as simple as I had imagined. Saved a little money, but spent a ton of hours…..hire a pro!

I wrote a very detailed review about The Backyard Life. It didn’t upload. Therefore, in a shorter version very unprofessional, unreliable and incapable of finishing a job from beginning to end. Joe knows exactly what I mean. Only one measure out of 5 was correct. Best advice I have is measure twice cut once! Cannot recommend as a contractor.
