This place is horrible. They want you to buy the parts, but then they don't want to know you to put them in. And if you do it yourself, God forbid, you call them for some help, they act like you're gonna sue them for everything, which is far from the point. But they'll let you buy the parts out, but they won't help you put them in. People have to save money. This place was the worst service I've ever dealt with. I thought the person that came out was nice. But in the end, it wasn't. How could you sit there and say you're not going to come, but you'll let me buy the parts on the streets and say you'll come do it for two hundred dollars? And then you don't want to be liable for anyt But they told you to do it. It's awful. This place is zero. I agree with the first three reviews. I don't even want to give you a star. It's the only way I could leave a review about how disgusting they are. Pick and choose who you help. What the hell is wrong with people? This store is the worst. Don't hire them. They're overpriced. And the guy even broke my my door, and I didn't even say anything. Disgusting

Please read this and don’t get service from this place. Extremely disappointed with Ted Appliance in Shelton. Technician Kevin was unprofessional, failed to diagnose my refrigerator issue, charged an unreasonable amount for no solution, displayed a rude attitude, provided little communication, and completely wasted my time, money, and trust.

This store does not deserve a star. We purchased a GE profile refrigerator on1/3/26. The delivery people were not nice. We have a ge service technician out 3 times to fix the right door that will not stay open. Technicians cannot fix the problem. When we went to the store on 2/14/26 we were told either put a shim to hold the door open or the floor is not level. We were told that he does not make the product and he did not build our house he only sells the products and basically told us to leave. Very poor customer service. We would not recommend buying appliances from this business. I assumption is their installer did a poor job of putting on the door and the hinge is pinching that makes the door close as soon. As you open it.
