Friendly and Welcoming Women-owned small business. The owner is always helpful with ordering and delivery or parts, and the mechanics are good with professional workmanship. I have been coming to this place since 2022 for routine services like oil change to major repairs like brake/rotors work, as well as tie rods. I love the small business and honest vibes here 😀

COX’S AUTOMOTIVE in East Hartford is the last place I will ever recommend for automotive service or buying a used vehicle. I brought my used vehicle for service. They had my vehicle for four days after the fourth day. I called to see if there was any progress and they said they did a diagnostic and they wouldn’t be able to do the repair because they did not have the equipment to do repair so I went to pick up vehicle to bring to another repair facility and take care of Bill front doors were locked when I went there twice and was unable to pay at that time then I get a call from the receptionist telling me I had to come in or she was gonna call the police so I went down to pay with my credit card and have a verbal conversation that wasn’t pleasant on both sides, but I was still there to pay the bill at this point she tells me she’s not taking my credit card for payment she wanted cash so at this point I asked if she was the owner or manager and she told me she was a receptionist Trying to take a cash transaction Which seemed very fishy to me please take my advice. I would not use this facility.

Definitely would not recommend going here even to my worst enemy! Lady behind the desk is miserable and has a nasty attitude with customers. Only to push customers away and ruin the location reputation. They may have several names such as auto or auto body. Dont fall a victim to their scams! Unlicensed mechanics and sketchy auction vehicles! You better off getting excellent services at a fast food joint!
