I walked into Rivera’s Appliances urgently needing to purchase a refrigerator, but unfortunately the customer service was very disappointing.
An older gentleman was sitting at his desk when we walked in and didn’t greet us or acknowledge us. He then received a phone call and immediately took the call. While he was on the phone, I tried asking him a question, but he completely ignored me.
I understand that phone calls happen, but as a customer standing right in front of you needing assistance, I expected at least some acknowledgment or basic customer service. It honestly felt like the conversation on the phone was more important than helping an actual customer who had walked into the store.
We came in ready to buy a refrigerator, but the lack of customer service made us want to take our business elsewhere. Hopefully management can address this, because customers should feel welcomed and helped when they walk into a business.
