Replacing my older built-in dishwasher turned into an ordeal I never expected. After researching countless models and visiting the big-box stores, I finally chose one and ordered it online from a large warehouse club. I paid in full, scheduled delivery, and waited—only to have the installer arrive and immediately tell me he couldn’t install it because my dishwasher was hardwired.
