APS Appliances

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Waited almost a month for a part to come in for my washer, kept saying it was going to come in this week, that week and still nothing. The snarky little girl that answers the phone told me to take my business else where and the owner would tell me the same. So I'm advising everyone else this business doesn't want business so don't even waste your time.

Had a serice appointment to have washing machine. They told me between 9am and 1pm. No show as of 1230pm. They said they called (phone call went to soam), didnt leave a message OR come to the house. They claim it isnt thier policy to come to the house to do the repair unless I answered my phone??? Odd....so, looked elsewhere for a dependable service provider!

I didn’t want to leave any stars, but for the sake of writing a review I had to. I’ve called countless times about stove grates. Staff there assured me that they would look into it & they would give me a call back. With no call back from this establishment in which they told me they would reach out, it was the opposite. For 2 weeks straight they gave me the same sob story about possibly having it in store, but that the owner would be the one to look into it. The first time I was in person when they told me the same thing. Being it was my first time visiting I figured it wasn’t a big deal, that I would give them a call & follow up. Only to get nowhere. I wouldn’t recommend anyone in the city or Racine looking for appliances/parts to hold your breath when told they will reach back out about whatever it is your in search of !! Waste of time!

This is my second set of appliances in about 8 years. Washer lasted about a good 6 years and went back for another. My dryer just went out a few weeks ago and replaced it again with APS. This dryer wasn’t turning off. Something with the dial. I called and they were able to send someone out the next day. Didn’t work for my schedule but today did. He came out, looked at the issue and decided they will just replace the dryer for me. Would be able to deliver tomorrow but again doesn’t work for my schedule so they’ll bring it Monday. Very satisfied with how quick they are and how accommodating. I will always shop with them for appliances.

UPDATE 1/23/2021 Our original purchase was made on 1/30/2020 and we purchased the 1 year warranty for $50.00 The machine failed mid December 2020 and it took APS Appliances until January 21, 2021 to rectify the problem! AN ENTIRE CALENDAR MONTH!!! And their customer service skills are in the toilet. Just because this company sells used (recycled/refurbished) appliances doesn't give them the privilege to use vulgar language in their conversation a with their customers. And, the "Warranty" is not in print and provided to the customer contrary to federal law. So, it's subject to the store's interpretation at that point in time. BUYER BEWARE!!! Original review> I realize this is a Used Appliance Store, but take some pride in your business! It was our experience that as a consumer, you better know what you are shopping for because the staff can't tell you. We had questions about the features of the item we were interested in but they couldn't answer them. All they could tell us was about the repairs that had been done to get the item on the floor along with the cost and delivery date. We had to Google everything else for ourselves. Plus, we came out smelling like cigarettes. The employees are smoking in the store/shop, which is not allowed in WI. As for the machine we did purchase, it seemingly was a good purchase; working well about 3 weeks in as of the posting of this review.
