Bob's Electric

We stopped at Bob's Electric last Saturday and talked with Terry, who was amazing and gave us his honest opinion on brand choices, steering us in the right direction for choosing appliances for our kitchen. We have bought a handful of appliances from them in the past, and this just reminded me why we shop at Bob's. There small town, family owned, approach is what always brings us back (along with Terry's humor). They honestly care about their customers and go above and beyond to help! We did some price checking after we left, and their prices were spot on with any of the big box places in the Madison area. Because we know their customer service is beyond the best of the best, they have our business again and will for all of our future appliance needs. We highly recommend them to anyone needing appliances!

Bob and Brent were wonderful to work with. After visiting several appliance stores in Madison, making the trip to Bob’s in Dodgeville was absolutely worth it. They were incredibly helpful when we ran into an issue with our wall oven not fitting properly in our built-in cabinet and took the time to troubleshoot solutions with us. Bob also walked me through the pros and cons of switching to an induction cooktop so I could feel confident in my decision. At no point did I feel pressured to buy anything, which I really appreciated. Their attention to detail, knowledge, and genuine customer service are things you just don’t get at the big box stores. We’re lucky to have a business like this in our community.

Every time I need an appliance for myself, a client or a rental property I call Bobs. I have never even been in the store but the service I get from them is INCREDIBLE. I call and say - “this is what I need. What do you recommend?” They give me their honest insights and they get it done. Not one time but at least 10 times they’ve done this for me. They’ve earned my dedicated business forever. I couldn’t be more grateful for the “old school” service, the in depth knowledge of products and how quickly they try to make it all happen. (I was excited to learn they also sell gently used appliances too! Perfect for a fist time home buyer)

I just wanted to give a shout out to Brent, a service man from Bob’s electric. I called to discuss some issues with our new dishwasher and he spent 15 minutes with me on the telephone troubleshooting. He also helped me with an appliance that I didn’t even purchase at Bob’s. He was kind and patient and I appreciated the help so much! Just one more reason you have our business for life!

We have purchased multiple appliances from Bob's Electric. Prices typically match or come close to big box store prices. Where Bob's exceeds expectations is in customer care and service. When we needed to wait for a specific refrigerator to arrive from the manufacturer Bob's gave us a loaner at no charge. This past week we experienced a problem with a dishwasher that would not drain water at the end of it's cycle. I could ascertain the problem was not clogged filters or a drain tube blockage. Over the phone Bob's Electric service technician Brent explained how to take the impeller motor assembly off the dishwasher bottom. Sure enough the impeller had a blockage. Before reassembling I took the impeller motor assembly to Bob's and Brent powered it up to insure that the motor was still functional. No charge for any of this customer support. An excellent family run enterprise.
