We purchased a couch from blvd home late April/early May of 2021 along with a 5 year warranty. The salesperson told us the warranty covered everything. We asked specifically if it covered damage from pets like cats scratches and were told yes. We called to get the couch repaired and had a technician come out. The damage was mainly done on an arm of the couch and the material was ordered to fix it. The material did not match the color of the couch and they were unable to find the right color to match. Then I am told all they can do is give me a 600.00 credit for a new couch. I would have rather just had my existing couch reapolstered to match the color they had, or replace with the exact same couch (which I was also told would be an option with the warranty purchase) than a new couch because my couch is really comfortable and I really love it and wanted it to last as long as possible. They don't care about their customers or warranty they just want you to spend more money for a new couch rather than fixing your current furniture and honoring their warranty.

You still did not address why you couldn't either re-upolster the whole couch so it would match the current dye color you had or just replace with the exact same couch.
I would think that re-upolstering the whole couch would be more cost effective for you than issuing a credit but you just don't want to take care of the customer.
You also know very well that you don't sell any couches for less than 600.00 that are similar in size to our current couch so if the credit was used then I would end up spending more money. Like I said, not worth it to spend extra money on the warranty.
