We ordered a new microwave and needed it delivered and installed and the old one taken away. Eleven days later it looking and working great. We had gone in mid July to Best Buy in Jackson and it was a horrific experience. Woods Maytag was less expensive. Woods Maytag cost less for delivery/installation. Best Buy couldn’t deliver the new microwave for a month and then said they couldn’t install it until November!!! Best Buy charged an additional $40 because we live 45 minutes from their store. Woods Maytag had no extra distance delivery. Best Buy wanted $50 to take away the old microwave. Woods Maytag’s installation included taking away the old one. Very satisfied with Woods Maytag!

We'll be back! Called and ordered an ice maker for my ailing whirlpool fridge. Arrived as promised. Price was a bit higher than ordering on-line, but supporting a local business? This is the way.

Forget the warranty, I tried to read him the warranty on the Maytag dishwasher, he kept interrupting saying that the motor wasn’t covered, never again will I buy something from Wood’s Maytag. It was his repairman that said what was wrong. Service wasn’t important to him, just sales.

I never leave bad reviews for our small locally family owned stores, however I am about to do just that. About 2 years ago we bought a Commercial Maytag Washer from them, and less than a month ago we bought a Whirlpool stove/oven. We have bought other appliances from them in the past, too. If you have bought appliances recently then you know, we have spent several thousand dollars with them. Let me tell be the first to tell you, the service is great as long as they are SELLING you the new appliances. They talk a lot of BIG talk about warranty. They DO NOT stand behind their products and this is how they get out of it. If you have a problem with the appliance, and the appliance is still within the warranty range, they can never get a service person out to you within a reasonable time frame. They always say "I will put your name down but it is going to be 2 weeks out." Who can do without a washer or a cook stove for 2 weeks when you are a family of 4? And did I mention when we call he is rude about it? This is the THIRD time we have heard his same spiel. Do better Woods Maytag. Do better. We won't be back.
