Absolute TERRIBLE company! Jay (the owner) never answers calls once he receives the money. He communicated with us until he delivered us a broke washer, then he text telling us to just turn the washer off and on again to make it work. Even tried to blame our outlet for being the problem instead of just fixing or exchanging the washer. Now he just ignores us so we can't wash the kids clothes for school. This company has previously been reported to the BBB, I wish we would have researched this company BEFORE handing over our hard earned money. And after reading these reviews I see he has a habit of treating his customers like this and its sad that this company is comfortable ripping people off! We've contacted our attorney and also will be filing a complaint with the BBB and I'm posting screenshots of our text messages and ignored calls to social media so people will be aware of this company before giving the company their money. The fact that he does this to senior citizens/veterans is disheartening

jay is a knowledgeable, customer oriented owner! He delivers on what he says.....affordable, well represented used appliances for every budget. Delivery & installation well worth the fee. Excellent at communicating throughout the entire process including follow up. Feel like i've made a new friend & reliable business partner in the community. Thank you!

Highly recommend! The owner was very polite, helpful, very knowledgeable and honest. Very fair price for a very nice clean appliance that runs like a top. My mother is so happy with her new washer. She said " You need to go write that kid a good review" so here I am lol. We couldn't be happier. We'll definitely be using Star in the future. You just can't beat the service, price or quality. Solid people like Jason are a rarity these days.

Bought washer dryer set. Dryer lights flash and don’t turn off! Washer doesn’t release fabric softener. Is also dirty! Still under warranty, however Jay (the owner), ignores phone calls and text messages! Reporting him to Better Business Bureau! Also, he will be hearing from our attorney! Gave him ample time to make this right! Very poor business man!

I had the best experience with jay and the employees at star appliances. They have The best prices gave us a amazing deal when I had to buy multiple appliances the stove and washer were immaculate they made sure that it all worked was delivered and hooked up even when we had issues getting the hoses off to hook up the washer they helped before leaving they spent the time removing the old appliances instead of us having to pay to dispose of them and the cost it saved us was exceptional it was the most wonderful online experience I’ve had and I’ve had some really bad ones I would recommend them to anyone they are very professional very helpful and very clean and very prompt arrived when they said they would stayed in touch i had a horrid experience with another company in Butler and they helped us out of that jam in one day and we got better clean and newer appliances at star quickly. I paid online safe and secure I will be buying a refrigerator from them in two weeks and above all the businesses that sell appliances in Mercer Shenango and even in Youngstown I recommend them before anyone else if you need any appliances go to star appliance you will not be disappointed I will always go back no matter what for my appliance needs did not have time to go take pics of washer hooked up but you get the point how wonderful it is thanks star appliance
