Called to check stock for a Bosch 800 series dishwasher, of course they don't have anything in stock, why would appliance stores carry anything but the cheap junk on hand? Went in and pre paid for it on a Tuesday. They promised me it could be there on Thursday for me to pick up and they'd call me when it arrived (this was extremely important as weve been a week as i tried to repair the last unit and it usually runs 2x a day)...Well Thursday is here and they are about to close so I call them, of course the unit didn't arrive and no one would've even called because they "forgot". Now it can't get here until at least Monday if they can manage to do their jobs and load it on a truck. They did say sorry and are giving me a useless 1 year extended warranty... the last dishwasher went 18 years mostly trouble free, why would I expect to need one extra year of a useless warranty? How about something we could all use like a discount on the product you couldn't get to me in a timely fashion. Or free installation, neither of those were possible as I asked. Basically they've got your money, and paying via check or cash, getting that back is a big ordeal for them to accomplish, taking days to get to you. There were plenty of big box stores where I could've ordered from the comfort of my house and had it delivered before the weekend. Moral of the story, if you need something quickly don't count on this establishment.

First time customer and will be back.. We needed a washer and decided to visit Riester’s in Canandaigua. Met Joe who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We made a purchase at a very reasonable and competitive price and Joe expedited the delivery understanding we’ve been without a washer. Delivery was as scheduled by Brian and George who were friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Highly recommend Riester’s!

Riester’s was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. At the Canandaigua store, Joe was great in helping me choose the stove and hood that suited my needs. He also helped me locate the type of microwave I wanted and ordered it while offering me a competitive price. Communication about delivery was clear and on time. The delivery guys were kind and knowledgeable, and an issue requiring appliance tech support was handled quickly. Jason came the same day and was a pleasure to work with. He resolved the issue and gave me some tips on how to operate my new stove. He even offered some advice on an older appliance that is giving me some trouble. I will continue to choose Riester’s for my future appliance purchase and service needs.

Jason installed my new microwave today and was an absolute pleasure! He called 20 mins ahead of time to let me know that he was on his way. Out the gate, he took every possible precaution to limit any messes. He talked me through every task he was completing as well as proper self maintenance to preserve my new purchase. Additionally, he explained every special feature on my unit. The entire time he had fantastic humor and was a pure joy! Thank you, Riester’s for your excellent customer service!
