Terrible, terrible experience. DO NOT USE!! Charged us $110.00 to replace a washer component. Washer started making the same noise again after a few days. They came back and then claimed it was another issue and wanted to charge another $200.00 for a different repair. I do not feel they are qualified or trustworthy to perform service on appliances.

My dryer stopped producing heat which I figured was a bad heating element. My property managment put in a repair request and unfortunatley it was through this sad excuse of a company. The technician that called me was named Pedro (DO NOT let this man work on your appliances) he came out and tested the unit and verified there was no heat. About 45 minutes passed and the "technician" told me that he fixed my heating element which was supposedly a corroded wire, from where in the heating element I do not know, Pedro just showed me the connector and then procceeded to tell me that I have "other issues." He went on to tell me that my dryer was connected to a standard 120v outlet. This is a complete lie as after he left I discovered the dryer no longer powers on and also found the dryer iteself was still plugged into the 240v outlet. My dryer was operational minus the heat side of things prior to him "fixing" it but now it doesn;t turn on. An electrician came out a few days later and verified the outlet the dryer is connected to is 240v / 30 amp. The fact that Pedro was working on a my dryer STILL connected to the 240v outlet is insane and dangerous! Completely unproffesional and I advise to never have this company send their "technicians" to repair you appliances. Maybe they are good for parts but that may be giving them too much credit. Stay clear of this place.

IF I COULD GIVE LESS THAN ONE STAR - I ABSOLUTELY WOULD. This company was sent to the townhome that I’m renting through my property manager. They drug me around for nearly 3 weeks in getting my dryer fixed. They came out once and said that they needed another person to get the dryer out. Totally fine. They never called to set up an appointment, so I called and got it situated. Again, not a big deal. They finally come out to look at it, say they need a part and say they will call to set something up. I asked them if I needed to call back if I didn’t hear anything from them (because it had happened before) and they said “no, do not call us.” I never heard anything for several days so I called back. The owner said that he would talk to my property manager to get the OK to replace the part, get the part ordered and call me back. Never called. I left a message with an employee (after another several days) and they said that they would give me a call back. Never called. I called several days later and an employee told me that they would leave a note for the owner to call me back. Again, they never called. Finally, I get ahold of the manager and relay to him that I’m frustrated and I just want an update and an idea of when the dryer is going to be fixed. He proceeds to tell me how he ordered it the day of, it’s in transit and how Maytag had to specifically make the piece for a “brand new” dryer. When I asked why I never got an update regarding how long it was going to take for the part to come in, he went on to raise his voice at me and say that he doesn’t have time to give people updates and he only relays what he knows to property managers. Then he told me to go to hell and hung up on me. I understand if he needs to speak with the property manager, but do not tell someone that you are going to call them back and then not follow up on your word. When someone tells me that they are going to call, I’m expecting a phone call. And then, to have the audacity to get angry with me when I start getting frustrated with the lack of communication. The owner of “The Appliance Store” is unprofessional, rude and unreliable. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Save your time and peace of mind by going to a different company.

This is the worst appliance technician store and very unprofessional. They came out the first time to evaluate the issue and had to order the part. They told me it will be a few days and they would let me know when it arrives to schedule a time to fix. Few days later went, they called me saying they’re on their way to my house. But I was at work and was not aware of them coming. So I had to reschedule. I called the main office to speak with the guy and explain why they didn’t call to make a appointment. The guy was very rude and unprofessional on the phone and said they did call me and they have it on voice recording. I asked to provide the recording and they guy changed the subject very rudely by saying if I still want to make an appointment for them to go because he was very busy. I made it and allowed them to try and fix the fridge. They told me it was fixed. Left and I tried to use it again with no luck. I called them about it and they said they can’t fix it. That they don’t know what to do. They told me they would call my warranty company to inform them of it. I waited a few days and called my warranty. They said they never got any call or noted on the company. So my warranty had to find me another company to come out and fix it, which was sears. Anyways, worse company and DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL!

The seals on our dishwasher were leaking. Choice Warranty sent out this cruddy company. First, someone called and said I had to pay cash for the service call; I've never heard that before, and I've had home warranties for years. Two, the guy who showed was cold and unfriendly and spent less that four minutes looking at the appliance, then left saying he would order the parts. But instead, he wrote that the dishwasher failure was the result of abuse... abuse! How do you abuse internal seals?? (Can't believe I even tipped this guy). Not only did he lie to us when he left, but once his "report" was submitted to the warranty company, that was the end... no appeal. Lesson learned. From now on, I will investigate the companies assigned to my house before they come out and reject the ones that get so many terrible reviews, like this firm. And two, we will video all future service calls on our Iphone.
