Donkers Hometown Appliances

Purchased all new appliances from Donkers as I wanted to support a small town business. A microwave failed after a couple of months and they replaced it but now after only 9 months I have a refrigerator that does not work and they tell me they are unable to help and I need to go back to the manufacturer. The manufacturer makes it impossible to resolve so now I am forced to buy a new one on my own, which I will now do at a big box store to save money. Terrible customer service here and I wont be back.

Dryer showed error RO so called for a repairman, Oct.15. It took one week before he made it to check dryer, on Oct. 20. He turned it on and off. Asked me questions on what it showed which I had already told the lady at the shop. He agreed and would order the motor which would take another week. Donkers called today, Friday Oct. 24 that the motor was in and could schedule next Thursday, Oct. 30 after 3. He said it would take him 10 minutes to hook new one up. The dryer is under warranty and it will be almost 3 weeks before they repair it! Poor service to fix something under warranty. Disappointed

Our dishwasher had been out of commission for several months. We were so nervous to call for a repair thinking it would be super expensive or be told we just have to buy a new one. Steven came out to our home within a week and diagnosed the problem. Parts were ordered and he returned to repair our appliance. Everything was so affordable and the customer service was great. Steven was knowledgeable, efficient, professional, and friendly and made our experience with Donkers great. Will definitely call them with any future repairs. Thanks again!!

DO NOT BUY THE CROSLEY BRAND WASHER!! I purchased all new appliances from them when I bought by house (August of 22) Service was great they delivered them however I don't think I got a single wash on the washing machine before it would sit on wash and never spin or drain. I called and they took care of it under warranty. Everything was good with the new one until a month ago and the same issue started occurring again. I called down and because the unit only has a one year warranty there was no warranty on it. (I did not have them come look at it due to the cost just to look at it) The rough estimate to repair was dang near the cost of the washer. I try to support small businesses and I really wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt however the customer service felt poor and that I was a problem they just wanted to get rid of as soon as possible. They also said they were going to email the manufacturer however I never heard back. If I had to guess they have been having issues with these washers for some time.
