You are all some kind of sick joke. Was supposed to have my install today between noon and 4, got a call yesterday "We gotta move it for between 2 and 6". fine whatever. So they arrive, shortly after six. Pull up in a huge delivery truck. They come in the house, their first question? "Wheres the new dishwasher?" So, lets get this straight.... your installers drive here in a huge delivery truck to install a new dishwasher and they don't bring THE DISHWASHER?!?!? Thats like having a child and forgetting to bring them home from the hospital! Good thing I spent that money to get it installed and hauled, to have people randomly show up at my home and waste my time.

I never write reviews but Whirlpool hands down has the absolute worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Not only do they not have any instructions manuals for a part I ordered online direct from their website anywhere nor could they produce one when I asked in their live chat but it is quite literally easier to get the president of the United States on the phone then a real person who works here. I can see why their stock price has been going down continually for years - looking forward to a chapter 11 from them

Horrible! 1-washer needed to be replaced after 4 years. 2-after purchasing a replacement the delivery was changed 3 times after taking vacation for all 3 instances...only notified of change the day scheduled for delivery 3-customer service on hold more than an hour and promised return call that never came 4-delivery drivers showed up (after 3 changes) without advance notification 5-miserable overall customer experience...do not buy whirlpool/maytag products!

We purchased a brand-new home two years ago that came fully equipped with Whirlpool appliances. Initially, everything seemed fine, but our experience since then has been frustrating and disappointing. A few months ago, our dryer had a major issue shortly after the one-year warranty expired. To Whirlpool’s credit, they did step in and repair it at no charge as a goodwill gesture, which we appreciated. However, just a few months later, the washer developed a serious problem. This time, despite multiple calls and escalating the issue as far as possible, Whirlpool refused to provide any assistance. We ended up paying $397 out of pocket for a repair. What’s even more concerning is that the handyman who fixed the washer told us this is a known product defect. If that’s the case, it’s very disappointing that Whirlpool would not stand behind their product the way they did with the dryer. Based on our experience, the quality and reliability of these appliances are questionable, and the inconsistency in customer support makes it hard to recommend Whirlpool. While we appreciated the initial goodwill repair, the lack of support for a known issue with the washer leaves us very dissatisfied.

I purchased a Whirlpool WTW4816FW washer in January 2024 and registered it immediately. The machine failed within the warranty period and required multiple repairs, including replacement of the control panel, pump, and capacitor. While the repairs temporarily restored function, the same issues returned shortly after the warranty expired. Since purchase, the machine has never consistently operated as expected despite multiple component replacements. At this point, it feels less like a reliable appliance and more like an ongoing repair project. This unit was properly registered and maintained, and the issues persisted regardless. For a major household appliance, I expected durability, not repeated breakdowns within such a short timeframe. At this point, the cost and inconvenience of repairs outweigh the value of the machine itself. I cannot recommend Whirlpool based on this experience. Buyers should be aware that initial repairs may not resolve underlying issues, and failures can occur again shortly after warranty coverage ends.
