Landers Appliance

From top to bottom, they were great. Was super easy to schedule an appointment online, they were super communicative in the lead-up to it, and the techs that came out were polite, professional, and walked me through the problem (broken dishwasher) and how to proceed with service. I appreciate a company and people that lay out options instead of doing everything they can to sell their service or product, and they did the former; diagnosed the problem, offered me multiple solutions, and had no problem with what I chose. Will be using them again next time I have an appliance acting up.

LandersTech, TJ, called within the first hour of my 4hr appointment window so I was thrilled. I called 2 days ago for repair on my 14yr old Kenmore refrigerator. It was not keeping food cold enough, and the top freezer was not below 30°F. I hoped Landers would just need to put in a new thermostat. Unfortunately, it can’t be repaired at a decent cost. I hate that everything has “planned obsolescence” in this “throwaway” world in which we live. I will have to put up the big bucks to buy a new refrigerator soon, but I’m still happy I called Landers Appliance. I’ve used them multiple times over the last 25+ years for repairs. They’re always thorough, knowledgeable, and reliable. For example, TJ arrived today with another tech, who has been with Landers awhile too. My appointment was a good training opportunity for TJ to show the other guy about servicing older units. I love that they have their own employees—not random contractors. I really appreciate that they don’t try to “hard sell” you to buy appliances from them. They have pleasant customer service agents and technicians making for a great experience! Even when they can’t repair your old appliance. :o)

Landers has been absolutely super to deal with -- first, when I bought my new fridge a few years ago, and now with a repair to my (vintage) dryer. For that, they worked with my schedule, and came right out. Malcolm, the repairman, was extremely personable, efficient, and explained the issues clearly. I am really glad to work with such an superior company!
