It all started with Lauren. I called before the service department was available in the morning, however not long after Lauren called and got the ball rolling. She made my day when I was informed my dryer was still under warranty. Even without the excitement of knowing the repair would be covered Lauren was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The issue was that the clothes were not drying anymore and the heating element was not working. Then comes Brandon, again extremely knowledgeable and professional. He did a bit of troubleshooting and determined that the heating element did need replacing but also that the timer/setting control assembly was likely on its way out as well. He replaced the heating element that day and got us back up and running, had to order a new timer/setting control assembly. He just replaced that this morning. All that to say wonderful experience working with the Gorman Bros team. I will definitely purchase from them again!

Was so excited to buy a speed queen washer from gormans as I was told they would handle the warranty if I ever had trouble. Well they tried very rudely and unprofessionally. Horrible communication. 3 different people couldnt communicate within. They all gave different info and blamed me. They were hell bent on sticking it to me.... and they did.... service dept is outrageously infuriating. Never again. I can see through these posts im not the only one. It's the service dept. They are so nice if you are buying something....asked for the owners contact (email would have been fine) but they refused. The sarcasm and condescending rhetoric was beyond what im willing to deal with.... ill buy from stines and deal with the manufacturer from now on. This was an empty promise with a poor outcome. Update** I can see the owners response.... and I have come to the conclusion that these people are absolutely delusional... not one time we're you called any abusive language. I asked you to simply be accountable for the information they gave out.. what a bogus response ... actually I was given a 3 to 5 time then was called a liar by Lauren. Who yelled at the top of her lungs over me via convo.. I wouldn't speak to these people for any reason on purpose.... what a laughable response....

These people are some of the nicest employees I have ever dealt with. We purchased a new fridge from them on a Saturday and they delivered it the following Monday morning. They were even nice enough to price match a local competitor. These perks are typically only found a local mom and pop stores. I would have zero doubts about purchasing future appliances from them in the future. They have earned a future customer.

Unbelievably HORRIBLE experience. I would give zero stars if I could. Initially, I recommended Gorman Brothers to my co-worker since they were local and she is new to Prairieville. She purchased a new washer and on Friday afternoon the technician arrived to install. Upon attempting to disconnect the water lines, he broke the fittings/water line, flooded her home, sprayed her in the face with hot water & dented the new washer in the chaos and left her hanging all weekend with NO WATER. Absolutely unacceptable and now the owner will not accept responsibility for his installer’s negligence. Now she is responsible for the plumbing expense. Her water lines were not leaking or damaged or ripped from the wall when he arrived and because he panicked he ripped the water lines from the wall and flooded everything. Terrible customer service. FAIL.

Beware! Purchased a washer and paid for installation. The installer broke the fitting off of my pipe and flooded my kitchen, dining room and laundry room. He claimed it was not his fault and that it was my pipes that were the problem. He left me with a floor full of water and a mop in my hand. Gorman Bros refused to take responsibility and left me with no water for the weekend. My landlord dispatched a licensed plumber who said that my pipes were NOT old or deteriorated and he was able to fix the connectors using the very same pipes that Gorman claimed was bad. Gorman Brothers didn’t even offer to refund the installation even though the installer flooded my house and left me with no water and with my brand new washing machine sitting in my dining room floor. Beware they do not care about customer service. Ps..the installer scratched my new washer up..I suppose that’s my problem too. Terrible people.
