Hawkins Commercial Appliance Service

So they give me an estimate to fix my walk in for over $6000. Charge me over $1000 for a temp fix. I get a second opinion and the fix was $362! After resuming to pay the $1000 because they were trying to rob me we settle on an amount and I pay. Then the place me in the refuse to service list lol. Not that I would use them but what a fantastic company! Stay away. All the restaurateurs I know do as well. They are such an unethical company.

I had two very old ovens that needed some work to get them going. They needed control over temperatures and regulation of gas flow. Jason was my tech. Hawkins was extremely easy to work with; they were very knowledgeable, the work was done quickly, they came back a second time to double check and tweak everything. I couldn't be more pleased. The price was good. The tech was great. The office staff was polite, professional, and wonderful. This is definitely the company you want to use if you need commercial appliance work.

I had a heating element burn out on Oct. 5th and placed a service call to Hawkins to fix it. I was told it would be 3-5 business day for them to receive the part and come back out. 2 weeks later, I had not heard or seen anything from Hawkins, so I placed a follow up call. I was informed that they were busy and would be out on Oct. 21st. The 21st came and went and I followed up AGAIN with the manager(who is named Lee) and he promised to finally have aq tech come out on the 25th. On that day, the tech was late, and he , self admittedly, was rushing and blew the new part that he was there to replace. He told me that he would be back the next day ASAP to fix his mistake. I again called Lee when the following day when the tech never showed up. Lee was not only rude and unprofessional, but wouldn't give me a set time/or discount on the replacement part. I reached out to other manager throughout my company and they all had similar complaints about Hawkins being late/crappy repair jos/and being rude. Please, save yourself the time/loss of business/headache and go with someone else who actually might want to assist with your issues!
