Austin Bluffs Ace ROCKS! I have been going to this Ace since it opened and have never been disappointed! Today was no exception. I went in, looking a little lost (my go-to look in a hardware store!) and was looking for self-leveling concrete filler. I found it and the steel brushes that the DIY information online had told me I needed but I read the back of the tube and it said something about needing “fine sand” which was a first for me. I found a gentleman named Rob at the Paint desk and asked for his help. Of course he was amazing! Informed me that, with what I was describing about the crack, sand was definitely unneeded and then led me to a bigger container as he felt that what I was describing made it possible I would run out with the smaller tube. Since I had other cracks that could use filling, the bigger container was a no-brainer for sure. Got that done, got back to the car and sure enough, I had forgotten I needed to find a very small Allen wrench to fix my screen door handle and although the front guy called for someone to meet me, when Rob saw me come back in, he promptly left his paint desk again (neither time did I need help with paint: that should tell you something about the help at Ace!) and came back and helped me track down the right wrench! I really love this Ace store and Rob made it very clear to me today, why I love this Ace hardware store! People like him should be cloned and put in all the Ace franchises/branches! Thanks again, Rob!
