This business deserves 0 stars. You would think a fireplace insert that costs a fortune would work properly. But no, not only is this fireplace insert a damaged product, it was also installed very poorly and measured incorrectly on their end. They had to return 3 times to install it correctly. But heat still doesn't blow out of the fan and the paint started to chip only a week after. When asked to have it fixed, replaced or a refund they were EXTREMELY rude and turned us away. My mom who paid for the insert is now out of thousands of dollars because of this business and their poor care for their customers.

This must be the most unprofessional business in the area. They don’t stand by their words or the appliances they sell and when the item fails to work properly, staff is extremely rude unless it’s when you are there to purchase the item,. Do not purchase anything from this store!!!

How do I even start. I am now one of those people who say I wish I could leave 0 stars. I guess I can start with the fact that my family purchased an expensive fireplace insert from this business because we had heard great things… Well the things here are NOT great. The staff is ESPECIALLY rude and ignorant. I’m talkin’ about Rob Orosco. We’ll get to him later. So we got the fireplace installed which was measured incorrectly leading to the destruction of our front room brick that we had to take out. The first night of fire was great, very warm and exactly as it was said to be. The following day however, the performance declined rapidly- screws became loose, the damper completely broke and no longer moved up and down accordingly, and the fan speeds slowed. When we asked Rob for help (in office) with the situation he yelled at us multiple times that there is (and I quote) “NOTHING I CAN DO.” We have had a tech come out 3 times total now and none of the issues have been resolved and they continue to tell us that there is nothing wrong. We have owned houses in the foothills with REAL wood burning fireplaces that heat large homes and seeing this cheaply made stove being sold at such a high price is a dishonor to the fireplace community. Stoves do NOT work like this and this business is a scam. I would highly recommend going to an honest, trustworthy, and well staffed business like Sierra Hearth & Home in Jackson CA where I have gone multiple times before I decided to try and shop locally when I moved to this area. Currently, we are trying to return the insert so we can purchase one that works, and Ben’s Wholesale Appliance has no intention of honoring their sale, considering customer satisfaction, working towards a solution, or doing anything morally sound. If there is any update or resolution I will edit this review accordingly in the future. I hope I saved someone from the extreme disappointment of a freezing house, large debt, and having to deal with such deceiving people. Thank you for your time. (Just added 2 videos, one of the damper failure and one of the paint on the fake cast iron front flaking off)

My electricians just finished installing my second GE monogram range hood. The first hood broke after 2 years of light use. That’s weird…I thought monogram was “high end”. Trust me people, it’s not. It took 4 hours for 3 electricians to install the new hood. This was due to poor design of the unit. In addition, for the unit to be installed properly, they had to dissect the unit to rearrange the factory installed electrical wires prior to installation. Now that the $2,500 second unit has been installed, we took it for a test drive. The function display doesn’t work. The electricians disassembled it again, tried to troubleshoot the problem. It was unrepairable. For those of you looking to make a decision on appliances, do yourself, your family, and more importantly, your wife, a favor and think twice about purchasing a monogram appliance. My monogram dishwasher leaks water. And my monogram microwave rattles when it’s in use. I’m waiting for the monogram oven to have its turn. As a matter of fact, don’t even consider giving this brand a look at all. Customer service is nonexistent.
