Warning! Would give 0 stars if I could. Stay away! This is a referral service only. They charge $140 to send someone to your home. In my case, it was the weekend, the day before I was leaving on vacation, I was desperate and my regular repairman wasn't available. The person they sent wasn't even a registered business owner. His company was called Jim Service Enterprise LLC or Jim Pro Services. I guess the name of his business depends on what day it is? His name was Jose and he claimed to be the owner. He claimed to have trained many people in many states. He has no website. Gives no invoices. Has no business cards. Has no official work vehicle. Most importantly, he had no idea what he was doing He couldn't fix anything and had to order a part. He didn't come back on the day he was supposed to, called the following day and hadn't even ordered the part yet. He ordered the part, came by and the ordered part was broken. He ordered again, came and did the repair, told me it was fixed and left. It wasn't fixed. He came back another day and obviously had no idea what he was doing as he was talking on the phone/getting instructions at the same time. We had some words as I expressed how frustrated I was that it had been over two weeks since my initial call and my washing machine was still broken. He ended up removing the part and told me to call my regular guy. He said he would give me a refund. 1. I'm still waiting for my refund from Jose/Jim/whatever they call themselves. 2. I called the Appliance Repair Men to get my initial $140 refunded for the "diagnostic" service call. I got the run around, but ended up being told that because I didn't sign anything (guess they should have given me an invoice) that I would get a refund. I still haven't received it. 3. I ended up calling my regular repairman. He came yesterday and had the machine fixed in 30 minutes. Jose/Jim or whatever his name was tried to fix the washer door switch/lid latch assembly when the problem was the actuator. I would not recommend either of these companies to my worse enemy.
